Yeah Danelectros are terrible instruments, well at least the old ones are i dunno about the reissues. But yeah thats why fat mike is always rigging his dan basses. I;ve even seen him put duct tape on his bass. They're light and fragile but so fun to play. Its a nightmare to keep them in tune though.

danelectro basses are junk...the only reason mike plays it is because hes old and his fender was too heavy. danelectros are featherlight.

i mean, they don't sound terrible, but they're not great instruments.
