Hmm... My copy of BioShock still says "Only on PC and XBox 360", but now it's on PS3... Wonder if Sony will let some of their exclusives bridge the platform gap? Because I'd love to see Haze or MGS in my sittingroom without having to blow E500 on a PS3...

Got this game the other day an love it. the only thing i dident like was there was no cut scenes, I all up for the gameplay! (which the game ply is amazing) but its good have a break and watch some scenes.

The talk of metal gear solid 4 crossing to Xbox is complete bullshit. Blu-Ray discs have 50GB of memory and Xbox discs have only 5-10GB. MGS4 uses almost all of the Blu-ray discs space. For MGS4 to cross would mean it would be released in something like a 7 disc box set.
This game is so awesome, one little problem-o i haven't got a xbox 360 or a ps3. This Christmas i probably will be getting one or the other,and i would like if you guys could recomend one or the other, and why is one better than the other. i played this game and i loved it... there was so much you can do... then i start thinking why not make it multiplayer add a death match and capture the little sister... there would be so much to do with all the plasmids and weapons... and then have something with a create a character
Everyone here should get Bioshock PS3. I had the game on my crapbox 360, and after it broke I got a PS3 and I'me eager to buy it again. It's the best FPS of all time, closely followed by Half Life 2. Get the Orange Box, btw :)

Okay, I got a PS3 in Jan. last year (ready for GTA 4's supposed release date) I recently got a 360 for off my GF. Anyway... believe me the 360 is better. GoW, GoW 2, Dead Rising, Saints Row 1, Fable... this is without mentioning the Halo franchise... Now You talk about RROD? My PS3 froze like 40% of the time I played. Haha ok since you wanna talk about exclusives being lost let's talk about the time when GTA 4,Devil May Cry 4,Resident Evil 5,Silent Hill 5,Final Fantasy 13,Fifa,Soul Caliber 4 & Tekken 6 were PS3 exclusives. One by one all those games have made they're way to the 360 & as for 360 losses, it lost Lost Planet & Bioshock... So? Lost Planet wasnt exacly a big 360 game & i personally didn't think much of Bioshock but i do understand why so many people like it.

Except Hideo Kojima has said on numerous occasions that it isn't going to 360. It isn't because Sony has paid for it or anything like that. Kojima says he will never leave Playstation.

Even Konami said they're looking into a 360 release. Hideo Kojima also said that he is taking the high demand for a 360 version into account. MGS4 will not be going on 360. it cant handle it. the 360s hardware is inferior and unable to cope with MGS4. if it does go on 360. it will be a broken and low quality version

its difficult to describe... u dont exactly see someone on the other side of the map. u dont see like 500people in constant warfare. its a small game sort of thing. u never see vast open areas. many enemies on screen doing entirely differnt things

games that are more expanded and more traverse normaly have worse graphics as all there graphical power is on keeping a good FPS. when u remove all the FPS draining effects of lots on screen. more power can go to the graphics.
This game was below average, don't pay 50 pounds or dollars for it, its not worth it, if you want to play it rent it cause you can complete it in two days anyway...very short, very easy.

Either way in *MY OPINION* This game is NOT challenging, and its quite short. Plus When you die, you continue without penalty in order to help you maintain the fantasy of not sucking balls at video games.
I know you can wiz through the game, just like you can wiz through Oblivion if you choose not to explore and enjoy the environment. But to say that this game takes 7-8 hours on medium, whereas you could have explored and enjoyed it even more on hard or hey, turn off the re-vita-chambers to make it last longer, adds a lot to the game. Yes, you are ridiculous. It's not an "easy" game, although the vita chambers hold your hand. But you are still ridiculous.

Not really. The PC is a platform you can play any game on. The RTS games don't work well for consoles for example. The PC is for the next 10/20 years here to stay :)
Well, you can play any game on it, but most people don't have enough money to keep their PC upgraded in order to play the latest games. Most are just happy with a console, which you don't have to buy new graphics cards. You get it all in one package. The majority of the people don't want to have to do that, so they buy the console. More people buy the consoles, so less people are playing PC games. That's why I expect it to eventually die. But don't worry, it'll definitely be here for 10-20 years
i had it for PC and it was an epic game, i'm not bothered about it for consoles really, i'd recommend it for the PC instead of PS3/360, like with most FPS', though for those you don't have enough £$ for a gaming computer, at least both console users can experience teh bioshockz now.
because it was exclusive to xbox first and then they decided to try and make some money off it on the ps3 but i dont think alot of sony boys are gonna want something that was on 360 first and a year old.

Everyone here should get Bioshock PS3. I had the game on my crapbox 360, and after it broke I got a PS3 and I'me eager to buy it again. It's the best FPS of all time, closely followed by Half Life 2. Get the Orange Box, btw :)

hahahahaha. let me tell you. mgs4 is a anti 360 game. the graphics and all of the gameplay is too superior for the 360 it would have to come in 2 discs. they advertise ps3's and macs in that so much. they take the piss out of the 360 in it. this is why the ps3 is better. quiet,doesnt get the rrod, less idiots on psn, warhawk, resistance,resistance 2,mag,lbg,pain,socom confrontation siren blood crisis the list goes on watch my video to see all of the ps3 exclusives. now go play halo 3, you xbot

Okay, I got a PS3 in Jan. last year (ready for GTA 4's supposed release date) I recently got a 360 for off my GF. Anyway... believe me the 360 is better. GoW, GoW 2, Dead Rising, Saints Row 1, Fable... this is without mentioning the Halo franchise... Now You talk about RROD? My PS3 froze like 40% of the time I played. I may have been 1% of a group but who knows... I played MGS 4 to the death... (LONG LIVE SNAKE!!!!!!!) honestly 360's pad is even better equipped... everything about 360 feels rite

Haha ok since you wanna talk about exclusives being lost let's talk about the time when GTA 4,Devil May Cry 4,Resident Evil 5,Silent Hill 5,Final Fantasy 13,Fifa,Soul Caliber 4 & Tekken 6 were PS3 exclusives. One by one all those games have made they're way to the 360 & as for 360 losses, it lost Lost Planet & Bioshock... So? Lost Planet wasnt exacly a big 360 game & i personally didn't think much of Bioshock but i do understand why so many people like it.

& dude to be honest with you i wouldn't be suprised if MGS4 goes to the 360 at some point. Now i was going to buy a PS3 but after the loss of those games i just mentioned im not willing to pay £310 for MGS4 when chances are it could go to the 360 at some point.

Except Hideo Kojima has said on numerous occasions that it isn't going to 360. It isn't because Sony has paid for it or anything like that. Kojima says he will never leave Playstation.

Things change dude especially with the money crisis thats going on right now because it's effecting everything & game developers need to make money somehow. Even Konami said they're looking into a 360 release. Hideo Kojima also said that he is taking the high demand for a 360 version into account. Now im not saying that it definately will go to 360 but right now it's very possible

MGS4 will not be going on 360. it cant handle it. the 360s hardware is inferior and unable to cope with MGS4. if it does go on 360. it will be a broken and low quality version

Well actually it's been said by both Microsoft & Konami alike that the 360 is more than capable of running Metal Gear Solid 4. So i dont know where you got that from.

...MGS4 uses more memory than the 360 disks can even hold. if it was to get ported the graphics would severely be dampend. and the 360 wud get a RROD in about 7seconds

as someone else said. they would have to release 7 odd disks. i doubt that will happen for any console game. and if the 360 is so powerful why hasnt any game come even close to matching MGS4s graphics? no game on the 360 exclusive or not has even grazed the graphics of the MGS4 + blu ray disks. and 360fanboys love their rumors "we are geting MGS4 yay... the 360 is getting blu ray at the end of the year" sony own blu ray. they invented it they will not give microsoft it.

1st of all it'll take up 2 disks, 3 at the very most depending on wether or not new stuff is added. 2nd Dead Space & Far Cry 2 have just come out & those graphics are phenominal. 3rd i never said that MGS4 is definately coming im saying that i wouldn't be suprised if it did especially after the official statement from Konami. 4th i dont care about Blu-Ray or HD-DVD & Sony didnt invent Blu-Ray they just endorsed it & finally i love how angry & biast your getting it's hillarious.

yes. it has good graphics. but thats because its a small and not so hetic game. MGS4 is fucking huge. huge maps and it looks better. because dead space lacks much area and isnt so chaotic it can have better graphics as more power goes to the graphics

its difficult to describe... u dont exactly see someone on the other side of the map. u dont see like 500people in constant warfare. its a small game sort of thing. u never see vast open areas. many enemies on screen doing entirely differnt things

games that are more expanded and more traverse normaly have worse graphics as all there graphical power is on keeping a good FPS. when u remove all the FPS draining effects of lots on screen. more power can go to the graphics.

This game was below average, don't pay 50 pounds or dollars for it, its not worth it, if you want to play it rent it cause you can complete it in two days anyway...very short, very easy.

I know you can wiz through the game, just like you can wiz through Oblivion if you choose not to explore and enjoy the environment. But to say that this game takes 7-8 hours on medium, whereas you could have explored and enjoyed it even more on hard or hey, turn off the re-vita-chambers to make it last longer, adds a lot to the game. Yes, you are ridiculous. It's not an "easy" game, although the vita chambers hold your hand. But you are still ridiculous.

You can't compare Bioshock to Oblivion, Bioshock is a linear FPS, Oblivion is a non-linear RPG.

IF take two makes the ps3 looks like shit since it was exclusive to the xbox360 thens thiers no reason to buy it for 60$. I don't think Take Two take thier time using the CELL PROCESSOR to make it look good. Look at Lost planet same thing it was only like 30$ when it was launch on PS3. I ONLY BUY EXCLUSIVE TITLES. Each console has its own strengths and weaknesses. The PS3 has an internet browser, but the Xbox 360 has better online service while playing games. Unfortunately, nobody is going to agree. Everyone has to believe that their system is the best, and that no other console will be able to beat it.

Not really. The PC is a platform you can play any game on. The RTS games don't work well for consoles for example. The PC is for the next 10/20 years here to stay :)

Well, you can play any game on it, but most people don't have enough money to keep their PC upgraded in order to play the latest games. Most are just happy with a console, which you don't have to buy new graphics cards. You get it all in one package. The majority of the people don't want to have to do that, so they buy the console. More people buy the consoles, so less people are playing PC games. That's why I expect it to eventually die. But don't worry, it'll definitely be here for 10-20 years

i had it for PC and it was an epic game, i'm not bothered about it for consoles really, i'd recommend it for the PC instead of PS3/360, like with most FPS', though for those you don't have enough £$ for a gaming computer, at least both console users can experience teh bioshockz now.
