my husband passed away and as i dressed him for his good bye going to god night this song my comadre recorded it played over n over the perfect song for our love story
simply beautiful.......I went to Edmondson High with these fellas in the 60's they were a very classy act on stage and in public Hey Marvin Brown- Brian Summerville, I miss the Famous and the Chrystal Ballrooms over East, man those were the days, you guys, Ruby & the Romantics, the Whatnauts, Frankie & the Spindles, the Vandals B-More was jumpin' every weekend, that's what we lived for back then, MAY GOD BLESS EVERYONE!!............
Hey B-more, wat up. Been gone from the city 17 years now, but do I remember the Soft Tones. They never got the respect deserved but there was so much talent out in those days somebody had to be missed. Harold, if you're out there, some of us noticed and appreciated you guys. This is Bill "Douggie's" ole friend. Peace.
I saw them perform at the once called Playboy Club in Baltimore around 1979 or 1980, it was a New Years celebration with The Softones . It snowed that night. I remember it well!~! I was with the women who should have been my wife!~ She was Sooo Beautiful , Educated, She could Cook , Sew,etc, She graduated from Penn State U! and she was a AKA . I think I proved it that night if you know what i mean!~ WOW! what a Lady she was!~ now I'm singing the O-jays ,She used to be my girl~! Oh well!!
@lowriderwisdom13 no its not. the perfect love that does not exist,is what makes love to some people complicated. been true to and loved my wife for over 20 yrs.laugh at life and love will come
This song never grows old. This is the kind of record that you play when things are getting serious and you're spending the entire weekend in - communicating.
That song with that lady in that pic in a 64 Impala SS cruising while the sun sets for the day...
