When when the song was mixed it seemed to a "funny "contrast to the happy feeling of the song... and since this version was anyway made with a "blink of an eye" it felt okay to do this...

you say that I don't know anything about music? that's funny.. because you just proved that you don't know ANYTHING about metal.. Power metal is a subgenre of heavy metal. It has more relaxed intros and instrumental parts, but more power in solos and choruses. The vocals are no growling, only clean, loud and high-pitched voices screaming. The lyrics are more epic and usually is about dragons and heros and all that kind of stuff.
