This Mr. Haynes is indeed a prodigious talent. I am not comfortable on this type of MIDI touchpad and have a hard time getting maximum velocity, never mind consistency or fine control of tone variation. (I'd much prefer a V-drum set with mesh heads, or perhaps a Kurzweil keyboard drum mapping)
Of course, it probably helps a great deal to have a separate kick pedal for another trigger, heh.
NanoPad = biggest pile of crap ever produced by a music instrument manufacturer. 2 x units DOA so I'm going to spend my time trying to do £60 worth of damage to Korg's reputation. Which is probably a drop in the ocean compared to the damage Korg themselves have caused. Avoid at all costs!
heyy just a couple question if anyone could answer them id be very happy. Firstly what software is he using? Can i do what he is doing and just play it streaing the noises through the pad and coming out of my speakers just like he is? Is there a way to do this if not. Thankss
he doesent have a bassdrum pedal that i saw it just looked like he was using his fingers and just tapping his foot kinda like a metranom(idk how to spell it lolz)But at this point only watched 30seconds of the vid so far so i will let you know forshure bro
I made the stand for David as a one off. It's basically made from 2 PDA holders bolted to a steel plate. The plate is attached to a tom drum holder, the rest is a modified MAPEX cybal stand.
what is the sound source who knows? some vst?

@Blader123123 Its a midi controller that controls software on a computer. There are no onboard sounds, so yes you need a computer.

I believe the pedal he has connected he uses for the Hi-Hat. It's a yamaha elctronic hi-hat pedal for an electronic set.

I was also curious about the pedal (I think it's actually connected to the Hi-Hat) - but HOW is it connected??

Nice. David is terrific.
What kind of bracket is he using to hold his Nanopad and mount it on the stand? Something like that would be perfect for my needs.
