This movie was great. One thing that really bugs me is: Why bother taking upon themselves the herculean task of "re-igniting" the sun? Scientific facts aside, let's assume that our sun is getting cold and is dying hypothesis is real. If you can build a spaceship that can recycle oxygen, food, and clean water and sustain life aboard for extended periods of time, and even (yet not explained in the movie) create its own gravitational force to keep everyone on feet, why not move to other planets?

this scene was actually one of the best in the whole movie. if u watch the movie its actually really peaceful-he touches the sun with his finger as he dies. its really spiritual with the music too-go watch it :D
Very glad I watched the movie before i saw this, because I would have been very angry. Yeah, Fox, lets put up videos of all the deaths the same week the movie comes out, and let people looking for trailers stumble across it.

1) No aliens: A survivor from the previous "blow-up-the-sun-project) tries to sabotage the mission because he thought he had a mission from God
2) They are blowing up the sun because it's dying (duh...)
3) Watch the movie because it's one of the greatest movies ever viewed. And those who doesnt think so is too young or retarded to understand the plot
