@sinaputkiacc as i know, it was an 560 SEC coupe, just chopped the top. The engine is the original MB, the other stuff (blower etc.) was custom fitted to this engine. If i remember well, the whole car built back in 90'
Some people will never understand the joy of doing something no one else will... A lot of work went into that, and it could be put back to stock in a week. I love it.
I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree

Was the engine the original Mercedes M117 5,5L V8? Or was it replaced with somekind Mopar/Chevy engine?
Was the Mercedes original 560SEC Cabriolet? They are veeeeery rare..
