id restart my life over just to haave it

  • Who ever thought connecting dots might get you to the point?

  • epic piano, epic song

  • i can't wait to see themmmmmmm

  • why did you cut off the epic evil carnival music?

  • @morecowbell2413 I have the iTunes version of the album, which is where I posted the songs from. Not only is it missing the carnival music ("Cipieron"), but it doesn't have the intro to "Vice-Versa" either. On the plus side, it does have "An Honest Conman," which is my favorite track by them.

  • @orphaeus99 are you greg heligust from Cooper TX?

  • @morecowbell2413 GUESS WHAT!! I've got a FEVER!!

  • my favorite track on the album. especially the intro into and the chorus.

  • ohk so;

"charity's a rarity, almost as much as modesty"

    or

"charities & remedies, almost as much as modesty"

    ???

i thought it was charity's a rarity, but more lyric sites say charities & remedies .

OPINION.? or if anyone has the LEGIT album lyrics . much appreciated . :D

  • @glamourkillsbrea

They didn't give full lyrics in the booklet. Only 2-3 verses for each song, sometimes even tweaked. "Charity's a rarity" is bound to be correct, makes far more sense, and it definitely sounds more like that. Someone probably screwed up somewhere and other sites took those "lyrics" without bothering to check for errors.

  • @doggythedog

i agree , i thought it didnt sound right. thanks for your input (:

  • @glamourkillsbrea yeah, it's absolutely "charity is a rarity, almost as much as modesty." on a side note, I'm pretty sure that it says "who WOULD have thought connecting dots..." not that that one makes a lot of difference...

  • @yousfulidiots i thought it was "the charitys are empty, almost as much as moss-deep xD

  • @yousfulidiots Haha, brilliant - have always heard it as "charity's your enemy, almost as much as modesty" which, even for darroh, kind of made no sense.

  • @shotgunsteele Yeah, its funny how some lyrics are perfectly decipherable for one person, and then nearly unintelligible for another. Like in "Amarillo..." some of the lines in that, I had no idea what they were until I looked them up on other websites and whatnot. Then with this part of "April Fools..." I heard that line as I stated it in that post, from the beginning. All things considered, this is one of the best things about these guys, is how amazing their lyric construction is.

  • This song is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I see a bunch of lyrics rage down there.

  • PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 0 dislikes that sounds about right

  • @meyerjohannes 1 person hit dislike just to spite your statement.

  • Why the hell does everyone analyze and focus so much on lyrics? Are those people who don't play instruments? So long as they don't sound stale I could care less, music first, lyrics are secondary, which is why a lot of the time you get lyrics that don't make sense. Not every artist puts meaning into a song as a whole. One line might have meaning to them completely different from the next and so on throughout an entire song and it won't make any sense to anyone, even the writer.

  • @podunkest you gotta like some lyrics though lol. I play guitar but isnt a song that much better when its got meaning?

  • @spalmerism oh absolutely, they definitely provide context and I very much appreciate good lyrics, but it's entirely subjective and I don't care to seek deeper meaning that usually isn't there in the first place. The beauty of it is that lyrics can be generally open for interpretation and there shouldn't be a "right" or "wrong" even if your interpretation is entirely different than the writer's meaning or intent. I get my own meaning and that's the best part.

  • @spalmerism I guess my point is, the people asking about and debating lyrics on youtube just miss the entire point of music completely, imo.

  • @podunkest well said. but to answer your initial question, Because people are mostly fuckin twits who just want something to bitch and argue about.

  • I absolutely love Fair to Midland. I'd love to see them live!

  • @TGS300 there amazing live seen them in detroit when they toured with chevelle there a must see

  • @malteserule I bet so. If they ever come to Atlanta, I'll definitely check them out. They're so unique.

  • @TGS300 the lead singer was all over the stage lol climbing up the wall of speakers singing then doing a black flip off of them very entertaining to see

  • @TGS300 they are pretty unique there song names and some of their lyrics are weird lol but there are amazing

  • @malteserule Yep. I love the lyrics to some of them. They are uncommon compared to other artists

  • @TGS300 my fav song is orphan anthem 86 i find that song relaxing lol but thats y i like them because there different then everyone else

  • @malteserule That one is very good. I like almost all if not all.

  • @TGS300 i like all of them that i hear from them but a few i don't really care for but the songs i like i love from them lol

  • @malteserule Agreed

  • current favorite

  • Its not "to number and display" its "to map out and display"

  • @MrFapmachine666 You may be right. I've come across several lyrics of theirs that are a little hard to hear/understand. As for my interpretation, much of this was taken off a lyric site.

  • @orphaeus99 not to be smug but i definitely hear "map out"

  • @MrFapmachine666 not like it really matters, It doesn't really change the meaning of the song, nor my appreciation of it!

  • @Shiek200 well yeah it kinda does. to map and to number dont mean the same thing. And trust me, i bet i appreciate the song just as much as you do if thats what your implying.

  • @MrFapmachine666 Relax man, sure the literal interpretation is the same, but then, there's nothing 'literal' about this song. Or any of their songs for that matter. All of their lyrics are very cryptic. So it doesn't make a difference, because it will end up being interpreted in a very similar way. And I was not implying you have less appreciation for that song than me, no need to get defensive, I'm not here to troll. I just meant that his mistake did not make me enjoy the song any less.

  • @MrFapmachine666 yeah i was just about to say that then i scrolled down and see what you said. but in saying this darroh sudderth does change up his lyrics.

  • woo! thanks for putting this up!
