Who sung this version? It sounds better than all the other Flake jingles. She has a decent voice.

@jrmetmoi The lady who sung this was called Anita Lumb/Kitchener (later Perks). A beautiful, larger than life lady who I was lucky enough to know. She was a great mentor to me in my teenage years, she taught drama, and went on to become a friend. She also did backing vocals for quite a few bands, including Fun Boy Three I believe. In later life she became a committed foster carer. I've just learnt that she passed away last week, she will be missed by so many.

You can age a man by his favourite Flake ad! My own favourite was actually a bit before this and featured a beautiful blonde but this one, which came out in my very early teens, is the one which sticks in my mind most.

This version was the best, with a bit more effort this song could have been a proper ballad with verse & chorus but I guess whoever wrote it wanted to make a quick buck.
