Never heard about Fred Van Eps berfore this. He is a genious at banjo playing no doubt about it. Very inspiring. Ragtime like only Blind Blake and he plays it

@matebary Fred was most definitely a man, a prolific recording artist, played with Benny Good man, made banjos, had a very long and notable career, b.1878, d.1960.

@RealRockandRoll Hello ! This is not Fred Van Eps (he was white), but ' Le joueur de banjo '. An unknow banjo player painted in mid 19th century.
