@jpdgmpdmpdmpdm The progression is A Ab D F# C# F# B E - A Ab D F E F B E. The E may actually sound like it should be a D, but that's because the guitars are playing a suspended 4th over the 5th. He's really playing the wrong progression in this video. The rest of the improv is mostly diatonic walking.

Thanks! I'm a big Phil Lynott fan myself. He had great vocal delivery and played very inventive bass melodies. I think my version is close to the real thing, but I don't read tabs very well so it's mostly by ear.
