WELL I think the discussion on this has worn itself out. THIS Friday evening I will be discussing the Federal budget, deficit etc. THAT I feel is MORE IMPORTANT than the birth certificate thing.
@hayden50 Trump will never get the Republican Nomination and if he did, he'd surely loose. Oh, and President Obama was not born in Kenya; he was born in Hawaii. President Obama's father, however, was born in Kenya.
@Smooveces86 bottom line is that Barry is the shittiest, crappiest President ever, period...virtually anyone who gets the republican nomination could beat Obama..even someone like Trump..
if anyone thinks there is competition between Barry & Trump, needs to get heir head examined.
@hayden50 The bottom line is that it's too soon to judge President Obama. By April 2008, George W Bush's disapproval ratings were the highest ever recorded in the 70-year history of the Gallup poll for any president. Bush left the White House as one of the most unpopular American presidents, second in unpopularity only to Richard Nixon. Many Historians think President Andrew Johnson to be the worst.
@Smooveces86 As someone who has STUDIED Presidents for nealy 40 years, in MY opinion BOTH Nixon and Jackson SHOULD be ranked near the TOP. The BOTTOM dwellers include: Obama,Carter,LBJ,FDR,Wilson,Lincoln and in that order with Obama being the WORST.
@BigRocky99 I’ve studied Presidents, too, but not nearly as long. However, I’m privy to the same information, regarding US Presidential history, that you are. It looks as though, based on who you consider to be the “BOTTOOM dwellers”, that you are not a fan of progressive, liberal Presidents. So, Obama is far from the worst. Perhaps the worst president was Andrew Johnson.
@BigRocky99 Or maybe, John Tyler (10th President) is the worst. Tyler's death was the only one in presidential history not to be officially mourned in Washington, because of his allegiance to the Confederacy
@BigRocky99 Yes! Both Franklin Pierce and Jamies Buchanan earned reputations as one of the worst presidents in U.S. history, according to many, many historians. So, whenever I hear people say President Obama is the "worst of all time," I'm not so quick to agree. Obama's term isn't even done yet lol. There's no way to know if Donald Trump would be a better, more effective President. As of now, everything Trump is doing seems to be a HUGE publicity stunt.
@Smooveces86 Obama I believe WAS BORN in Hawaii. BUT the PROBLEM is with his MOTHER. I believe she did NOT meet US citizenship requirements AT THE TIME of Barry's birth. THAT would TECHNICALLY make Barry a NARUTALIZED CITIZEN NOT A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN. Naturalized citizens are NOT ELIGIBLE to be US president
@BigRocky99 President Obama's mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, was born in Wichita, Kansas. She spent her childhood in California, Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas and her teenage years in Mercer Island, Washington, and much of her adult life in Hawaii and Indonesia. So, she is undoubtedly a natural born citizen, as she was born in the USA.
@Smooveces86 YES I am NOT doubting that. His mother was DEFINITELY a US citizen. But there is a clause in the constitution stating a parent (of the candidate) MUST be a citizen of the US for AT LEAST 10 years and 5 of those years MUST be AFTER the AGE of 16 in order for the CHILD(Obama) to be a NATURAL BORN citizen. The records indicate that she was ONLY 18 when Obama was born. She MUST be AT LEAST 21 when Obama was born......
@BigRocky99 I needed more room to finish. .....for Obama to be NATURAL BORN. Since the records are at best foggy, the question is HOW OLD was Barry's MOM when he was born. IF she was 21 or older, PROBLEM SOLVED.......he IS a citizen.
@BigRocky99 Can you please post a link so that I can see for myself the clause in the Constitution that states that the parent of a Presidential candidate had to have been 21 years old or older when they gave birth to them? I can't find that clause anywhere.
@BigRocky99 I’ve never heard that clause in the Constitution regarding the criteria a Presidential candidate’s parents must meet. What about the past Presidents? Andrew Jackson is the only president born of two immigrants, both Irish. Presidents with one immigrant parent are Thomas Jefferson , whose mother was born in England, James Buchanan and Chester Arthur, both of whom had Irish fathers, and Woodrow Wilson and Herbert Hoover , whose mothers were born respectively in England and Canada.
@Smooveces86 When the Constitution was written they put into it a clause concerning the begining Presidents. A US citizen who was born PRIOR to the writing of the Constitution did not have to meet the parental clause. Since Jackson was so OLD and born BEFORE the Constitution his parents were a non issue. Same for Jefferson. Buchanan, Wilson and Hoover are all OK from what I understand since one parent was a citizen. However, Arthur is QUESTIONABLE. I am NOT sure about HIS mother as well
@BigRocky99 I'm sorry, but this sounds pretty ridiculous now. Did Buchanan, Wilson and Hoover's parents give birth to them when the parents themselves were 21 or older? Is there record of this? Did anyone really care how old the parents of Presidential candidates were? Didn't in those days people wed and have kids very early, often before they were 21?
@Smooveces86 YES I think we have beat this subject to death. As far as a link goes, I already removed it from my favorites. If you google 'USA natural born citizenship requirements' I think you will find that. I recall even the subject of Arthur's questionable eligibility came up. BOTTOM LINE: Obama IS a citizen, but NOT sure the TYPE of citizen. So to those who say Obama is a FOREIGNER or ILLEGAL alien are DEAD WRONG. The wording of 'citizenship' & 'presidential requirements' should be fixed...
@BigRocky99 again I need to continue. When the Constitution was written, the ONLY ones who could VOTE were WHITE male LANDOWNERS OVER THE AGE of 21. As you know the voting REQUIREMENTS have changed through the years and THAT was for the best. They had a thing about 21 being some sort age minimum back then. Imagine if the VOTING REQUIREMENTS NEVER changed from the original draft. NOT many would be allowed to vote INCLUDING ME, a WHITE male OVER 21 but NOT a land(property) owner.
@hayden50 I thought everyone was woke to the fact that it dont matter who we "vote" for. The men behind the curtain was still going to get their agenda pushed weather it was a Dem or Repub......In my opinion I think if voting really changed things then it would be illegal...
@Smooveces86 Actually it wont matter... the damage is already done and America is about to fall ...it really dont matter what puppet is up there they all stink
@neanam YEP SADLY I think you are correct. The deficit is SO BAD that NO MATTER what is done the USA as we know it is OVER. NOBODY can fix the problem. Hyperinflation and a DEVALUED DOLLAR are next NO MATTER WHO is in the White House
WELL I think the discussion on this has worn itself out. THIS Friday evening I will be discussing the Federal budget, deficit etc. THAT I feel is MORE IMPORTANT than the birth certificate thing.
