Why do they even try to make their avatars look like they're talking.. it looks like ass because it's several different gestures executed at random times.
Is there a way to steer the ship and sink it? I mean it really is art and beautiful but not only would I like to see how it feels to be on the ship I would also like to see how it feels to steer or be on the ship while its sinking. I think its more realistic this way, yet even if you can't do this it truly is wonderful and incredible and I hope I can one day see just how amazing it is...

Great setup and movie. The Titanic3D was launched by Activeworlds Europe in 2004/2005 and was given worldwide live coverage in newspapers and on TV news (CNN). On our ship we can have thousands of passengers live at the same time, the reason we built it, as SecondLife cannot have that many passengers. Look out for the James Cameron 3D version of the movie, and our connected 3D version for launch in 2012, which we started developing early this year. You are welcome to join us.

I really would love to see this beautiful ship. TP doesn't work so I think it may be gone. A shame just like the Planeteer Space Sim it was gone when I finally found it
The Titanic is a must see creation and a credit to her builder and staff that own, maintain and run her - well done Mara 7 Guus. It can only be assumed that the negative comments below come from some juvenile who has recently crawled out of SL kindergarten and judging but his user name and profile has reached the age of 12 and plays in the bath with his "accurately detailed lifeboat" whilst waiting for some thing else to grow - T
Titanic is the single greatest build I've found in SL in two and a half years, it stands as an accurate demonstration of the magnificient ship, and a tribute to those who perished. I go there often to just walk around and feel what it must have been like. Thank you for opening the ship up for everyone to enjoy!
I agree with Ramaruh. When I heard the Titanic was on Second Life, I rushed to check it out. But as I looked through the floors of the Titanic all I found were stores, rather than a replica of Titanic and rooms. I was hoping to get astoned by it's brilliant design but most of the rooms were empty or filled with stores. ):
Nice, very very nice! Great job building Morphius Barbosa! I dont mind the shops they pay the bills to keep this place alive for many to enjoy. I'm sure the decendants of the RL passengers appreciate the passion put into this project. Keep up the good work Mara!
I must say one thing : I am not impress at all , the only thing I visited was a Mall that was looking a ship nothing compare to the real thing , this is a poor replica of what was a great ship and this aberation of a ship is only a insult to all the people that died during the unfortunate event of its sinking. If you dont have money to run the place dont do it , cause the Titanic was not a Mall , but a majestic cruise boat.

Exactly in 6 months we had 112.407 visitors.

The Titanic Sim is a PG sim, and the dress code for the
Ballroom and the Stern is semi formal to formal.
