Is Billie really an alcoholic? Her drinking has only been going on a short period of time. I think her going to a meetings might help her to prevent eventually becoming an alcoholic, but I don't think she is at this point. You don't become dependent on a substance that quickly. Although she does have compulsive tendencies, so perhaps it's just her personality to be prone to addiction.
