  • I'm working my way through, on vol #5 now, and my favourites have been Preludes & Nocturnes and Season of Mists, so far, but they're all totally amazing.

  • are these paperback volumes more worth it than the absolute versions? The absolute versions are expensive as shit (70 each=almost 300 for all) and all 11 of these paperbacks are only about 13 each for all of them

  • @XtrmMcjohnson I don't see the need for Absolutes but that's my opinion. I get the same story in the trade paperbacks. The Absolutes are for people that want to know every minute detail of the process and want something pretty for their shelves.

  • v.4 is my favorite

  • The story arcs, The kindly Ones and The Wake are certainly the best. Neil Gaiman, though a great story teller, is at times prolix.

  • I strongly Recommend the Seasons of Mists volume and Brief Lives.

  • I absolutely love Gaiman. Sandman is my favorite comic of all time. I have the entire library. The Dolls House and Season of Mist are my fav story arcs. Out of those two I would say Season of mist is my fav. I don't want to give out spoilers but Morpheus gets something very special from Lucifer in that one. And I do agree on how Sandman represents it's time. It really dose have an early 90's grunge fell to it. But at the same time it dose not feel dated. If that makes since.

  • thanks, awesome review ;)
