It won't matter if all the listeners aren't of Asian descent or not. Everyone can relate to being neglected or lonely or being denied something they need! We all human and all got emotions so even children can relate to what it was like to be seperated from their parents at daycare. Point is if you rap about stuff that matters to you anyone who willing to see the human emotion in it should be able to understand it quite well even if they never experienced that stuff before.

I get what you were saying too! Gotta have some meaning behind it. The term implies being happy about Asian culture so to make it emotional and meaningful it would be good to take all the cool and sad moments from the history of culture and rap about it, tell a story about an individual trying to fit into a new environment but cuz her looks make everyone judge her she feels depressed and has to overcome that pain (like the Chinese Exclusion Act in late 1800s). Rap about that! That be real deep!

Hey Masia, you should do a video on the California Gold Rush and the struggle it took for lots of Chinese farm laborers to care for their families while being ostracized for how they looked. That would be so deep! Just stuff about the history that happened that was deep when you mentioned all that stuff about Asian Pride (the history of descendents in those countries and what happened to them). Put some family experiences in your songs too just to make it personal to yourself. That be so cool!

you aint done yet in musicland baby, getting it al together with the breakers graffartists mc, dj's, you got what it takes to be a rollmodel. Getting everyone together makes people feel good about themselfs and the peolpe around them. you (and the manegement) should organise like a total hip hop festifal with workshops and all that. Inspire the youth, give em something to be proud of themself and they will carry on the work you started!!
