I cant hear this wonderful music sang so bad! why Gruberova never sang in italy??? too much portamento, horrible style, the melodic line is always dirty, expression wrong, and -the worst thing- she sing this music like "stupid" music

This is the same production Dessay sang in San Francisco like three weeks ago or so. And the production didnt really fit her, she did a better one at Met. In this case its perfect, perfect for Gruberova!!!! Brings out a charachter, Gruberova is one of those genious vocalists with far from perfect acting scills, but here she shines!!!!! And the voice is perfection!!!
