I have several Paul Hardcastle and Jazzmasters CDs, and I like

about 90% (collectively) of what they do. There are a very small

hand-full of numbers that they sould never have done -- or, as is

the case here -- RE-done. Jr. Walker's version was takes you

20,000 feet deep into a sea of URBAN SOUL... This one, Paul's

version, comes up about to my ankle. (Sorry 'bout that, Paul.)

This is nice, cute but it could never match the original by Junior Walker and the Allstars...Motown's finest! Thanks for sharing this . I am a big fan of Paul Hardcastle's "Rainforest"

@MrMiles716 No way on this Earth! Paul Hardcastle is a great musician, but "A Walk In the Night" can only be great when Junior Walker and the Allstars, the originators play it. Better go listen to the greatest version, by Junior and Company again. This version here is too fast and devoid of soul.
