@nomad6t9 This is done with fiber optics, which means all those stars are the end of a fiber that all lead back to a single LED light, though its possible that every fiber can be a different diameter

Thanks to your inspirational video and instructable, I am going to be able to do this to my wife and I's master bedroom.

Also, at the beginning of the video the stars look bluish-white, then turn white at 0:28. Is this just the video camera or does it depend on the angle your looking? It looks nice both colors, though.

ive had loads of experience placing the stars and constillations astronomically accurately in their shape as well as relation to each other

(obvoiusly there is some distortion as we are projecting a spherical onto a flat plane)
