  • best funny work ,after pornostar

  • If airplanes could scream. I can almost hear it screaming!!!!!

  • NICE!!!!

  • I will not miss the DeathCruiser 10. Glad they are gone. Too spooked to fly.

  • You should do a sequel so that when Godzilla starts eating all these snakes would jump out and start attacking him and then it could be Godzilla vs. Snakes on a Plane. Probably would be a better film than Mega Python vs. Gatoroid and similar movies.

  • ya a new door

  • dc-10 is crying for help!!!!!!!!!

  • I can just picture this machine operator describing what he does for a living and the response: "Get out!? Really?"

  • Was anybody from McDonnell Douglas arrested because of Flight 96?

  • @hdaircrafts uh probaly not I don`t think they would arrest any one from the plane companys whan a plane crashes unless it was a sabotage or company neglagence

  • @TFdude15 Company negligence. That was the problem. They knew about the problem in the cargo door before delivering the first DC-10. Besides, another DC10 crashed just one or two years later killing everyone on board. Mcdonnell Douglas could avoid this accident, but they didn't do nothing. Unfortunately, money was more important for them.

  • @hdaircrafts wow, I thought they would have been at leased fined. well at least for the turkish airlines 961 DC-10 crash. but not for the AA 96 one though since no one died

oh and thanks for correcting me

  • Me Autobot Grimlock! Well eat you Decepticons for Lunch!

  • volo low cost ahahahahaha

  • Someone better preserve a DC-10 before it's too late. None are in museums as far as I have been able to find.

  • ITS GOT TEETH! D;

  • hard to believe you can get paid for doing something so fun

  • i liked tht plane boo hooo

  • Such a phenominal waste!

  • God, this is painful to watch!!!!!!

  • I AM OPPOSED TO THE SRAPPING OF AIRCRAFT!!! I SPEAK OUT AGAINST THE SCRAPPING OF AIRCRAFT!!!

  • Why must it end this way? Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Such a shame. I wonder if you could use the tail fin as a nice coffee table? :-) I remember flying on the old DC-10 when I was about 7 years old. Good solid plane with a few minor issues like engines falling off and the odd crash here and there. Apart from that , all was well.

  • l1011 is a good plane but this is sad

  • DC-10 should just all be scrapped tbh the L-1011 is a much better plane

  • wow machine vs midget machine MIDGET WINS!!!!!!! :0

  • airplane?

  • awesome

  • thats a waste of money!!!

  • Thats a crime right there!

  • the sound of this machine gives me orgasm

  • Wasn't there a better way to scrap an old airliner???

  • Wall-E

  • boobs!

  • man i want his job!!!..

  • I would love to get my hands on one of those jet engines. :D

  • wow!

  • Looks more like a Hawaiian airlines DC-10.

  • LOL!!!!

    Great video!

  • hey i know, send it to the shreeder.. would be faster.

  • What happens when one of those goes rogue at an airport and decides to attack a plane, it will provide no protection, manufacturers need to include armor plating on these planes.....LOL

  • best job ever

  • no fair, the plane had no wings and could not retaliate by flapping at zilla!

  • does that reduce the DOW?

  • Waste of a plane

  • thats a waste of airplane

  • Did he die??

  • To powinniśmy zrobić z naszymi Polskimi samolotami. [*]

  • Yes amazing footage but let's be honest it's just a cat digger with a hydrolic attachment and it is NOT eating the dc 10 And tbh it dosent add anything to the vidio to say o the dc10 gets shredded by Godzilla it's just an old plane being broken up for scrap metal by a NORMAL CAT

  • poor DC 10

  • lol awesome

  • Godzilla should eat people, not planes. Planes have absolutely no nutrians. People have plenty.

  • Hahahahahahah, oh man...

    Seriously? Ahahahahaha....

  • wallabywombat you're correct - this monster spits out the whole A/C after playing nice games with it - maybe it's not tasty enough - who knows?

  • @spyder889 dude can`t you hear the beeping noise?! a truck makes that niose and godzilla gosent have wheels AND GODZILLSZ FAKE!

  • pichurulz1 what are you saying - of course it's godzilla - it looks like godzilla and eats like it - especially A/C

  • You tell him Spyder889 !

Look better than Godzilla its? self did in the movies. Who needs spinal fins and a big tail. Besides Godzilla in the movies only ate things smaller than it - this thing eats BIG BIG BIG things and spits 'em out !

  • its a truck and i am a girl go to school is it oveus dam

  • the Lockheed TriStar (L1011, "eL 10-11) was probably a better triple engine aircraft with a better safety record. Lockheed did a great job on this bird. had Lockheed still been around in the civil aircraft business today they would surely have given boeing and airbus a run for their money...

  • The L1011 was the nicest trip I have had anywhere in the world (Sth America).

However they guzzled juice like it was cheap as chips, had some nasty maintenance issues and at the end of the day became redundant as Lockheed became more swallowed up by it's opponents competitiveness. Glad you guys enjoy the flick

  • thanks for posting!

  • @hunzala92 That is absolute bullshit. There is only 1 TriStar left in commercial service. 150 DC-10's

  • The best tri-engine plane in the world

  • could you imagine if you were sat on the runway in that plane then thing came and attacked you lol

  • I would shit in my pants LOL

  • 1:45, the back part of this aircraft would make it a great practice targets if you have a gun.

  • DC 10 has been in numbers of crashes involved American airline, Turkish airlines, and United Airlines, so every passenger DC10 must be destroyed and scrapt.

  • "cash for clunkers"

  • oh wow Kaboom 1:44 that would be danger to be underneath the tail.

  • Comment removed

  • poor DC-10. Obviously, it was defenseless because it has now become nothing but a battery of steel and aluminium.

At full power, one of its engines would have blown the Godzilla away across 50 metres and turned the Godzilla upside down !!!

  • Too sad for the DC-10, but no airliner want to use them today.Main reason ?

The real responsibles ? THE PETROLEUM COMPANIES !

They steal people and companies SO MUCH that today, good aircrafts, but too espensive to fuel have to be scrapped !

  • noisy thirsty and dirty

  • what a shame

  • :( HOW SAD!!! I miss the D-10!

  • That would be funny save for no doors no WINGS... ehem... oh and no engine in the back...

  • 1:45 Krak daar gaat staart er af.

  • wow, it cut through that like butter....

  • Yummy!! DC-10!!! Bring on the 747, im starved!

  • mmmmm yummy eat dc-10 i want a jumbo jet next!

  • noooooooooooooo

  • :'( The poor DC-10...

  • Finally dc-10 goes for scrap. L1011 was way better.

  • Wholeheartedly agree with you.

Flew in one with Aero Peru in 1972 and was the quietest smoothest ride I have ever had in a wide bodied jet (apart from the ferry of a 767 across the Pacific to the USA).

The DC-10 engine being half way up the tail so to speak caused a lot of vibration in the rear of the aircraft whereas the "whisperliner" basically stablised the vibration through the mounting onto the body.

Doesn;t quite make sense why but nonetheless it did. Thanks for viewing and commenting

  • Yes you are good at explaining that. The "S duct" known on the L1011 and even the boeing 727 have the engines made at the back part of the tail. Makes it quiet and more efficient. The l1011 could go up to mach 90 for those of you who didnt know.

  • @MMSband737 Yeah sure it was, now you me and the other 76,048 know that is a complete lie look it up there is 1 l-1011 left in service 150 DC-10's so the TriStar was apiece of shit and the DC-10 isn't

  • This guy must prefer the L1011 over the great DC-10.

  • They chewed one of those up also and I misted up. Magnificent aircraft - shame it guzzled fuel like gatorade at a Marathon run !

At the end of the day these beasts were what bought the world closer together.

    Thanks for viewing

  • They could probably retofit a DC-10 with new efficient Rolls Royce Trent engines, if they could that would be better on fuel and add range. DC-10 is a beautiful aircraft, but I've never flown on one, darn.

  • I work for a charter airline and we use a lot of DC-10's...I like them. Cool wide body planes..They are very distinct in sound(enginewise) You can tell it from ANY other plane..Its actually a good plane when maintained well. I would love to fly on a 747 myself..

  • I'd like to fly on the A380.

  • Good riddance to DC-10s. It was a bit that fell off of one that caused Concorde to be withdrawn!

  • Actually it is cause by Continental technician who fail to take care the engine well. So part of the titanium strip drop away from the Continental DC-10 engine and fell on the runway as the recipe for disaster.

  • Looks like a fun job

  • that has to be the best job in the world!

  • Yep the guy seemed to enjoy himself.

He got to do this to 747's,727's and Diesel 9's and walk away smuggly every night. Only time it was a pain is when someone forgot to remove an oxy or fire bottle (woops) or the jaws wouold get stuck on some titanium weights in the leading edges. Bit like a chicken bone stuck in your teeth I imagine LOL

  • Do they feel guilty after they destroyed this

    grand, noble aeroplane, DC-10?

  • omfg! horrible to see a piece of technology chewed up like that!

  • Yes...

I got very angry and upset after seeing this video! So wasteful...

Such a meaningful and historical aircraft should not end up like this!

  • Flew on a dc10 around 1986 from manchester to majorca and some guy in departure lounge wasn,t keen getting on.Said the doors were prone to falling off? Really settled the missus that did.

  • Once with American Aiarlines, then the diastrous Turkish Airlines in '74. after that the door catch type was totally re arranged so it never happned again.

  • but they should of fixed it before instead of letting it crash twice it was basically murder to cut costs.

  • Yes, thats true. A "gentlemans agreement" to fix the door over time... I think the lawsuits from this lead to their demise. Seems they got everything right on the aircraft except that one thing.

  • so whats it taste like?

  • A mixture of fuel, aluminum, plastic and whole lot of other sh!t!!!

    (that means not very good...)

  • lol!

  • L1011 >>>>>>>>>>>> DC-10

    S-duct for life

  • For those who might be interestedthere is an excellent book called the Rise and Fall of the DC-10. It is a remarkable insight into the design, manufacture and eventual screw ups that caused many incidents and fatalities.

Cheers and Thks for All Your Comments and Viewings.... Kangated

  • fed x still flys them

  • Are they 10's or 11's ???

I saw a few and thought they were the latter derivate MD-11 ?

  • MD-10's and MD-11's

  • thank god they got rid of the DC10, the name should have been worst plane ever made 10

  • What a bollocks comment, two crashes, they fixed the prob and it proved reliable and safe, and is a looker. I'm going to hopefully fly on one still in airline service, look forward to it.

  • OMG DC-10 IS ONE OF THE WORST AIRCRAFT EVER BUILT!...but i still like it. ^^

  • very good vid 10 + LOLOL !!!!!!!!!!

  • No!!!!

  • What a waste of a beautiful plane... unless it dint work but why

    i would have flown it

  • Wow, like the last part when the tail is going down :)

  • Death Cruiser 10

  • OMG! I want to cry now...

  • I Just love those Douglas DC-10´s

  • DC-10 has many crash and not safely worst airplane.

  • Engrish?!

    LOL!

  • Amazing to see how the tail falls to the floor.

  • poor DC10 its so sad seeing this video :o(

  • B E R - Beyond economical repair- Godzilla eats it!

  • I bet that guy loves his job.

  • Yeah and can you believe he got paid to do it !!!

The recycle companies buy the resultant rubble and they probably become "coke cans" or something of the sort.

Some guys have all the fun !

  • I've said it once and I'll say it again...the only good DC-10 is a dead DC-10

  • How come?

  • What a shame!!!!!! The DC-10 is a great airplane! I really hate to see it go! :(

  • how did you get this movie?? thats a pity i love dc 10

  • I was working at Goodyear Airport in Arizona recovering a 767-200 from Australia and getting it ready for lease to a Russian Airline.

This activity happened almost daily (between godzilla's dislocated jaws) and included numerous 727's and 2 very early serial number 747's!

  • yeah "wallabywombat",that's right. just because these birds are too old,i guess these planes started flying? hmmm? 60's?. i hope Boeing (now owns Mcdonell Douglas) ressurect these tri-jets of the skies, also boeing 727 which stopped operations for passenger line but most of them are already in a Combi or freighter class now.

  • True Brent, even the older 737-300 and -400's are succumbing to freighter conversions. I have often thought how enjoyable it would be if someone returned the old "Clipper" flying boats into service and offered trips that took 2 weeks to get from Oz to the UK - an era before I was born, and will never know the adventure of it. There are a few 727's still waffling around and in Indonesia there is glut of MD80's still flying, a victory of spares over common sense in many cases.

  • Yeh. That's not Godzilla...

  • i hope dc-10's and md-11's will be fitted with new sufficient engines.hence,it will fly in our skies again.

  • There will be 11's in the skys as freighters for a while but I dont think many of these birds will survive for much longer. There is a glut of tired passenger jets worldwide that are more efficient waiting in line for operators. My thoughts are similar to yours and I would dearly love to see some L1011's resurrected having flown on one in Sth America in late 70's and I recall it was smoothest nicest aircraft I had ever been on

  • A sad end for a classic airliner.

  • incredible

  • lol.the verdict for dc-10 after killing concorde

  • good motion

  • dc10 is a great plane y does it have to be dystoyed

  • Unfortunately it eats to much juice, costs too much to maintain and has been replaced by more efficient designs. Nonetheless it was a great aircraft in the scheme of things, along with the like of the 707, DC8 and Tristar L1011 all of which no longer grace our skies in great numbers.

  • Now this is a shame! Being a pilot myself and seeing a DC-10 being ripped apart, what a sin!

    Truly a spectacular aircraft.

  • Interesting that Godzilla choked on the titanium "flap weights" it encountered in the wings. They also chomped an aircraft which was no 12 on the assembly line, the MFG plate was kept as a momento by one of the MRO managers I believe. They also chomped down on a 747 belonging to UPS and countless 727's. All very sad

  • Noooooooooooooo!

  • yumyum thats good plane

  • wtf how is that godzilla

  • You can't see the resemblance ?

    Use your imagination man !

Godzilla was the machine's nickname at the MRO.

  • that doesnt count because its not a person eating it.

  • as a heavy equipment operator, I could never destroy a great plane like the DC-10.

  • Yes - despite the :maintenance issues" others have mentioned fact is it was a truly incredible aircraft despite design faults etc. But please, don;t seat me in the rear ever again - my ears won;t take it ! Much preferred the L1011 but then again I didn;t have to pay the fuel bills Hahahahahah

glad you enoyed the video despite its gruesome conclusion

  • "Magnificent Aircraft"?? That is debatable, You apparently never had to work on one in service!

  • Very intresting, could you msg me more info on "godzilla"? =/
