@AngelusAddo she's not talking about the coconut water, she's talking about coconut milk.. it has to be prepared and is done so by baking and blending the "meat" with water, and straining it etc. Look up "how to make coconut milk" on google, the coconut milk is a man made, pretty much liquified version of the coconut "meat."

Maybe you had a yucky coconut. Each one tastes different and some are gross. Same as avocados. If the first one you have is bad, how would you know? It's possible you just don't like coconut water, but it's also likely the one you tried wasn't a good one, so it may be wort trying again.
