I don't think you understand. Dependencie can be psychological meaning we can create them ourselves. Here's an example...let's say you want to astral project, but the only way you learned to do it is tanked as fuck.. Now,let's say you want to project and also be sober. Now you have two obstacles to overcome whereas alcoholism is the more difficult one considring the user thinks the only way they can project is by the use of alcohol. The same thing applies to your statement
