well, I don't know about these runs in particular, but I ride a hardtail brodie omegaon fromme all the time. I don't do any really hard stuff, I'm fairly new but I don't have any trouble on a hardtail on blues and mid level blacks
@OneBarSolo i ride this trail on my Kona Caldera which is a hardtail bike and wound up just fine... but keep in mind i am a more experiecned rider.. so i might have more abilities that you have..... but still its a nice ride if you know what your doing.. even on a hardtail(if you dont mind having a sore ass in the morning)
You can do it on an XC/All-mountain type bike, but it will be very rough depending on which trails you ride. I used a 160mm travel bike a few years ago and did fine but enjoyed it much more with a 180mm travel bike.
Freeride. Rode a Santa Cruz Heckler in the video and didn't go fast or do much since it was very wet. Rode a Freeride bike (Turner Highline) there last summer and enjoyed it much more.
looks like some sick trails

can you also use hardtail bikes on this kind of trail?

I wouldn't. It would be unpleasantly bumpy.

why are you guys the only ppl there is ithat area popular for biking
yumulz 2 years ago
It's very popular. We were there on a weekday and it was raining so we only saw a few other riders out.

Hi, do you think i can do these trails with a regular bike with shocks? No disk brakes nothing special?
scvs2 2 years ago
I wouldn't recommend it. some parts can be very steep, with out the disc brakes it could be suicide.
BURNABYHUCKER 2 years ago
Humm what are the difference between the two brakes?
scvs2 2 years ago
Disk brakes have much better stopping power and work better than rim brakes when wet.

lolz dont count on it... there not exactly a walk in the park... ur breaks on trails like this are the by far most important part...
