Hi, I wanted to say I listened to your performance and was moved. I've heard this piece performed quite a few times, but you managed to infuse it with a powerful individuality and musical emotion. Truly creative, in my opinion and well done.
Well, seannyandme, I am impressed. I have just performed this, and I know how much control the first and second movements take. Sure, there were a couple of missed notes, but what mattered is you played liek you and you got your musical point across very clearly. Such a sweet and beautiful tone. Although there are vids of Anne Akiko Meyers and Giora Schmidt playing the concerto better technically here, i dont get that same feeling I do with them that I do with you. You played from the heart.
Thank you so much for the comment, it really touches my heart, specially now that I'm having trouble with myself and the violin (difficult times) and have lost confidence and joy of the music... All I want is to make good music for me and others to enjoy and lately I was very down, so your comment is very important to me... Thanks and take care!!
I played this song too :) I also have the Hilary Hahn and Gil Shaham versions on cd...I can hear some of their influence in your playing--it's nice. Very musical :) Could you check out mine and tell me what you think? I'll post the video after this comment.
i hear music. Music. not crap. not technically excellent work, like so many people have come to treat music as. I hear music. Imperfect but musical. Thankyou
THANKS. Your comment is so touching and it's nice to see that some musicians are still alive in the face of the earth... Take care and thanks so much!
Im a pianist.. this is one of my favourite pieces = so many colours in it. You play it very beautifully..there were a couple of moments I think the rhythmic tension (undercurrent) was lost a little in the big line?!
I like this.

Gorgeous! I've just embarked on this piece myself, and it's encouraging to hear someone who did such a good job! Nice one.

Yes, I enjoyed very much. I'm 21 now. I have Hilary Hahn playing it and also Gil Shaham (which to date is the best I've ever heard playing it)

I would have to agree with you hands down on that one. I have Gil and Hilary doing this piece and Gil has to be the best recording out there.

there is a recording from Isaac Stern somewhere 'out there'. You will find it and ......... LOVE IT.
An outstanding job you certainly did!!

I really enjoyed your work here, it was wonderfully melancholy and your violin makes wonderful sounds.
