I didn't like the recent film version. Don't get me wrong I am a huge huge fan of Vice!! Watched almost every series and episode apart from the very first series! But this film for me was too "bitty" there was so little continuity - the storyline (well I couldn't see any storyline tbh) seemed to be jumping all over the shop! The producers tried too hard and put far too many nice cars (ok Ferrari for Crocket and Tubbs - yes that is a MUST) but not every other bloody character......

Also......I didn't think there was enough dialogue - and the music I felt was not "Cuban-Latino" enough for my liking - remember Jan Hammer and his synths "Columbia" etc - thats the sort of music I was hoping for!! Miami Vice Anthem very good, Arranca - Excellent choice, Autorock very nice but I think there just wasn't enough of the Miami Latino- Hispanic music and the camera work made you sea-sick its all this fast editing - why couldnt they keep to the tv format?

Geez --- Collin Farrell looks SO greasy and sleazy as Crockett (and he's not even a God-damned American), I'm just so glad I didn't see that piece of trash.
