ichill69, Dude, there are 4 guitar players (one is playing bass, blond hair guy, hello) , organ player, 2 horn players, drummer, and a guy on percussion not to mention 3 back up singers. Yea, small band.

Winwood has never been pure rock since he tried to reinvent himself at 19. He's too intelligent to be pure rock and roll like say Clapton.

He will always have a big band with horns, still does to this day because he likes jazz too.

Some good points around.Steve's vocal maintains the spirit of the original.They do the necessary,tight guitar,bass riff upfront and the drummer smashes out the beat ( he's on it). Agree with gittahfiend about the horns.
