Good job. The timing is completly wrong however. You have made it too rhymic, the rhythims need to be more swung and smooth.

The staging could have been more varied and less blocked!

Good connection however and overall a good effort!

I would think that for a musical theatre final scene the actors would have been taught how to introduce a piece, and in the dialogue that ensued, how to project their speaking voices. Finally, some variance in the blocking would have been nice rather than just profile positions throughout. There is more to musical theatre than just a good voice.

We were actually only told that we were supposed to introduce the piece minutes prior to the "performance" (which in this case is more of a scene showing). Thanks for your comment! (Also, I whole-heartedly agree with you that "There is more to musical theatre than just a good voice.')

I love this song, and from the many non-show performances, this is one of the best ones. As you get further into the song, the acting gets very good. Most people who try to perform this song sit on opposite sides of the stage, have no emotional connection to the song and miss the entire meaning and story!
