I think Lau Chan is an ideal rival for Law; Bruce Lee was all about rebelling against the past, Lau Chan is like, an ultra traditional "old man" Kung fu master. A traditionalist vs a "rebel;" I would love to see that.

Also, you mean cross overs like Capcom vs Marvel? Its a cross over dude; originally, it was just Marvel Super Heroes, that is an exclusively Marvel fighting game, then it was Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter, then it was Capcom vs Marvel.

Look man, if you think cross overs are that dumb, no need to worry; the legal logistics to make a cross over between VF 5 and Tekken, is quite impossible, as both SEGA and Namco are doing quite well. SNK only agreed to the Capcom vs SNK cross over because the company was washed up and it needed the money, and Marvel, well, they SWIM in it, so they can afford to loan out characters.

Marvel is constantly looking for publicity, and their legal department is accustomed to protecting Marvel copyrighted characters regardless of what medium they appare in. Boy that was fucking verbose let me put this another way; Marvel has set up things legally, so that they can loan out characters to anybody, and still have the character be Marvel property, while the company gets money, asides from swimming money, they got a cushy legal set up regarding creative freedom.

Video game companies have no such cushy legal set up, because in Japan, all characters are company owned, and there are no legal clauses that I am aware of that allow characters to just be loaned out. That is, when cross overs occur in Japan, it is by mutual decision from company's top brass, and the legal logistics are just unreal, in short, you can rest easy 'cause its not gonna happen.  Not unless SEGA begins to tank and they're desperate for money, then it would.

@truTTh100 Akira does not need to wait 3 precious seconds to take you out in two. Both Paul Phoenix and Marshall Law have "one hit its over" moves, but they take time to charge up, and are a bitch to time. In my entire near 20 year Tekken career, I think I've only used Paul and Marshall's "one hit death" moves successfully maybe, MAYBE, 15 times, and I'm riding an ego train here, it was probably less than that the move is so tough.

However, due to the fact that he didn't know his mother until after tekken 4 would mean that he was unaware of his heritage, regardless.
