  • IMPRESSED!!! You must have been home-schooled.

  • great job thank you

  • Thanks for the videos :) I was thinking, could the syphons be replaced with simple pvc pipes betwewn buckets below the overflow hole? They would be less likely to get blocked and it would avoid the problem of loosing the syphon.

    Thanks

  • @Skylancer2k4 What a nasty comment! These guys have spent their free time eloquently describing a brilliant system that will help loads of people.

    Keep your bullshit to yourself.

  • great good job...

  • Can you post a video of where to buy the siphon materials and how to assemble them.

  • I do have a few questions. Where exactly would one put the holes to atatch each small tube to the bucket (where on the bucket)? Also what about the level of water in the parent water cantainer. Does it matter what it is? If not using a float valve how would I keep it at the correct level? Sorry but I really need to know all this before I get that drill in my hand. :-)

    Thanks

    Rosemary

  • I saw buckets like that at Home Depot and thought about using them to grow some broccoli but someone told me I'd need food-grade buckets if I wanted to grow edibles. Can anyone verify that?

  • Well I don't know about the, "food-grade," term, but you definitely want food that did not contain or come in contact with toxic substances.

  • @alrightypewriter that is the stupidest thing I ever heard of. do you buy food grade dirt when you plant vegetables?
