@GruntNSquidTV The axis lock and arc lock are completely different designs, they just look similar. The axis lock came out way before and is actually much stronger, however I can't give the arc lock any flak the aegis works great in my experience.

I don't care for Benchmades. Don't get me wrong, they make great knives, but they are horribly overpriced. There are so many other companies that offer knives of equal and/or better quality, for a fraction of the price of a low-end Benchmade. But, for some reason, so many people swear by them anyway. In my opinion, they're just paying for the name, but, whatever. To each his own.

The columbia river rsk mk5 is a good neck knife and you get a survival tin with it.Its much cheaper.Carbon steel, kydex sheath and a good neck knife.

when i used to carry the SOG Pentagon Elite II the five inch blade on it often caught the eye of non knife carrying people. that being said, i just dont like knives that are to short to cut through something at least the size of an average tomato. sure a good sharp knife of any size will cut a tomato but a decent sized blade is just so much more efficient and practical

on hte kiradashi, you got ripped off, that thing would take 15 min for me to make and maybe a 2 hours to heat treat and finsih, youd be better off making them yourself

I dont wear them anymore unless Im going into the woods, but yes, they cna be taken apart and used for various woods tasks from makign a firebow and starting a fire to makeshift shoie laces, toi building shelters to making traps to catch aniamls for food...if you take the cord apart you cna even use the innser strands for sutures...

no fixed blades as long as you carry it unconcealed, and even so, if it looks like it can be used as a stabbing weapon than you can't carry it. carrying folders are 3-4 inches or under with a good reason, gravity blades, autos, all completely illegal unless the blade is under 2 inches. It sucks. the gun rules are pretty strict too

That is a pretty cool tiny knife lol. I flip out a gerber to do somthing and get strange looks from it. I flip out some 99 cent one that was actually pretty nice for its price and blade is like and inch and it scares people more because its "concealed" easier lol.
