  • I love the stones and JW... but Mick Jagger looks ridiculous playing guitar with all these guys

  • jack white smiling is very cute, showing emotion and respect. buddy guy smile shows complicity and affection but christina aguilera is just an inappropriate whore.

  • 4 dislikes go see justin biber...

  • Two musical geniuses. One perfect performance.

THAT is beauty. There's hope for the world yet :-)

  • @IzzzFizz I'm pretty sure it's 5 musical geniuses

  • I don't think I've ever seen Jack smile so much while singing!

  • @thelandofme Might have been the only time actually ! lol

  • Jack White sure looks bloody delighted to be playing the Stones' most beautiful song.

  • jack reminds me a bit of Joan Jett...weird

  • 3:58 keith richards to jack white: "go and sing! fucking child!" :D

  • Jack White's smile in this video could cure cancer

  • @transfrmpnguinz I think it can save the world! cure cancer and provide immortality to all who do good unto others! Amen!

  • I think there are certain modern day musicians who are talented enough to have played in the 60's and 70's era ...Dave Grohl, Jack White etc and i think The Stones acknowledge this

  • When God created Jack White, he decided to give him a pinch of awesome, but he accidentally poured the whole cup.

  • I can't hear the acoustic guitars!! :(

    ...love the song though

  • thanks for posting! i'd love to see these guys jam together. jack white's soulful voice and amazing solos go perfectly with mick jagger's gritty rock and roll. This is simply one of the best videos on youtube :)

  • The legends will continue! Reminds me of Keith/Mick with Muddy Waters & BB King --that look of "Damn! Look where I am!"

  • jack white is really like a small child that can play with his heroes:)

  • This was my wedding song!

  • Mick is the star. Jack isn't big enough yet.

  • Jack has so much fun here, people seem to be questioning his talent but the simple fact that he plays so confidently and brilliantly with one of the biggest bands in the world speaks volumes. I'm a much bigger fan of the White Stripes and the Dead Weather than I am of the Rolling Stones, I'm not saying they're bad by any means, but Jack has so much presence on stage it's incredible. If anyone needs confirmation of his brilliance I am happy to direct them to a multitude of examples.

  • @LeutArtemis I love Stones, i've heard a fair few Stripes songs, like some of the blues covers but they're not my thing but i can see he's fucking talented and respect him loads!

  • Thank you gentlemen for basically making my day. I remember Ron wood on his way to join Mick and the boys good to see him making Jacks day so thoroughly. Moments Like this make me proud to be King of Kings b Rex:) 02

  • MerpDerp I love this <3

  • Jack White is cool, seems a nice guy, but as a musician... pffff... average

  • @mechanic765 You really have no clue

  • @eggnogist you're right

  • @mechanic765 Keith says in his book that Jack is a very talented musician. I guess he has a reason to say that. :D

  • Jack White's grin brings me happiness! Jagger is the coolest; way to lead by example! Love it!

  • perfekt, best band of the world

  • Why was I not informed this was going to happen??? xD

I would have gone across the world to see this!

  • loving this performance seems like jacks cup is following over with joy . nice to see

  • This song is great to start off the new year, with a drink!

  • Wtf?

  • i love to see DETROIT cats "make it" it takes a lot to get out of the funk that engulfs this beautiful city.

  • Ronnie Wood looks like such a wanker everytime I see him play live, am I the only one who thinks that?

Also Keef is still da man

  • Yes,yes, like a kid in his (fore-)fathers candy shop ... humble and having such a good time ... singing the blues, with utter commitment ... and in a gesture of gratitude and affection puts his arm around Mick (4:22) who responds in a cold-as-her-Majesty's manner by pushing him away (4:26) leaving the boy bewildered as he steps back off the stage, stopping to ask Keith if he'd done anything wrong (4:38) but it's only Ronnie who has sensed what is going on and steps in to comfort the young man.

  • @dwat26 so what was wrong? why did mick do that?

  • I think I'm in love with Jack White !

  • If I'm jack white, I'm numb and blessed.

  • Is always fine to watch two of ur favorites artist playing together. Yaaaaaai ^^

  • jack is si hapy for playing there,,,

  • haha, Jack is having a ball. cute.

  • Love it!!!!

  • that boy livin the dream, goddamn

  • this is AMAZING

  • These boys ROCK

  • Jack White is sooo talented and HOT!!!!

  • @66melmak

To be fair though, who is the best guitarist and singer in this performance.

A prime Jack White, or a 65 year old Mick Jagger (who’s not even known for playing the guitar).

It’s Jagger all the way. Imagine how great he was when he was White’s age.

Why Jagger has made $500 million. Huge talent

  • @MrCeej9999 To be even fairer, Mick Jagger's band has been active since way before Jack was even born, thus having even more time to amass his reputation, being a member of one of the band's that everyone knows, and getting paid ridiculous amounts of money for it. Still doesn't mean that either is better than either.

  • That was so fucking cute, made me smile the whole time. Love that boyish smile he gets....same with Loretta and Jimmy Page. So cute

  • I don't I've ever been more happy for anyone. Wow, congratulations Jack White. You got a drink of their lovin' cup alright. Way to go, man. You deserve it.

  • jack looks so happy lol

  • GENIOOOOSS!!!

  • this is awesome. I smiled the entire time

  • The Stones AND Jack White:DDD My day won't get any better:D

  • ZARPADO!

  • when i saw this scene on the TV, i was randomly walking by when my parents watched it. I'm not a RolingStones fan, but then i saw Jack White and i screamed. Jack White <3

  • Love the Stones but this movie was a movie Scorsese directed ten years too late. Late 90's they still had a bit of Voodoo juice...looking at this gig its almost a cabaret act. A real swansong. Far from it though, they'll be back. You bet your ass they will. They'll make the big money and still get the finest pussy.

  • I know people will flip shit but the Rolling Stones arnt a rock band, They're definitly RnB

  • @justhurryupduuuude

    yeah, no.

  • @justhurryupduuuude just curious........why?

  • @MultiDoubleTake why bring it up, or why would ppl flip shit?

  • I think Jack White is a decent guy and respect what he is trying to do and his general tastes and musical talent, but he is really fucking up a great Stones' song here. He should stay away from music that he can't do justice to.

  • @jackkwest

    They invited him.

  • @jackkwest jack white is wayyyy more talented then jagger

  • @amacdonald27 they both rock hard

  • 3 people enter in the wrong link.

  • they should have brought Trey onstage for this

  • Jack's having such a good time, bless him :) Haven't seen that many smiles on his face since... um... ever!

  • @Mawhera This song comes offa Exile On Main Street, the single most amazing album ever made. Jack loves the album and I imagine he was just living his little Southern France rock fantasy right there with one of the best tracks from the album. Lucky bastard.

  • Jack. Heh heh. He's pretty good

  • Jack looks hot.

  • @RobbyWheelerGuitar keeping track of me buddy? I am entitled to my opinion and this is a forum where I can voice it. If you don't like it that's okay but Jack White is not that good. Good songwriter but an average guitar player. Don't get so butthurt

  • @DakotaTheNova

Average guitar player? You haven't watched Under Blackpool Lights.

  • @DakotaTheNova well jack white is way better than john mayer.

  • @DakotaTheNova Most people have heard White Stripes from their third album (Hotel Yorba et al) but the first two are Jack at his guitar-mean best. Judge him after you have heard those two albums keh?

  • @Kayno1975

Yeah exactly, or even better, watch one of the White Stripes live DVD's.

  • this video had my previous channel deleted... it was well worth it

  • never even had an opinion about jack white but love him ever since i first saw this in the cinema.... he's well excited and having fun, you can tell he's like HOLY ***** I'm playing with THE STONES

  • You're all overly in love with Jack White. He's alright at best.

  • @DakotaTheNova go suck a dick lol

  • @DakotaTheNova So says the same person who told an average (at best) female YouTube guitarist to "Seriously, marry me?"

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, even you. But before you think about insulting the opinion of another, just think about how much better it'd be for everyone if you keep your mouth shut instead.

  • @DakotaTheNova

Me thinks me smells a troll.

  • Jack White.. Luckyy!!! ! Cool, what a rush that must've been..

  • Jack is quite humbled here...he is like a little boy in the candy shop. I think he feels honored and feels like playing with The Stones he has made "it". Good for you, Jack :).

  • shiiiit, jack can have a drink from my loving cup any day...

@DakotaTheNova i don't see that at all; they seem to vibe really well, i was actually a little surprised. & i agree, he looks honored to be there, even humbled. who wouldn't be? maybe just not what ur used to seeing from him..?

  • I love this! What an honor for Jack! When he is more seasoned...It will be an honor 4 them! They are all wonderful!

  • Jack is acting like a douche in this. Trying too hard to up stage The Stones. You can tell they picked up on it too.

  • @DakotaTheNova I don't see that at all. Jack looks like he's honored to be playing alongside the Stones, and the whole band looks like they're having a great time with each other.

  • @DakotaTheNova Not sure how you came up with that, but No one could upstage the stones!

  • @DakotaTheNova No i dont think he`s trying to upstage the stones! I think hes just excited to be there! !

  • @DakotaTheNova He`s thinking what a beautiful buzz it is to be on stage with the stones!

  • @DakotaTheNova No. Can't you see that Jack is really nervous! i mean, he had probably dreamt of playing with the stones a couple times... you're the douche

  • wowie zowie.. this is pretty cool

  • Jack White looks like he's having so much fun.

  • @Terga2010

    Hahaha thanks :)

  • @xDeadMisfitsx

I'd say Jack White, Jagger, Keef and Charlie Watts all qualify!

  • Just learnt to play it, an amazing song to get a crowd jumping :)

  • Excuse me, it's more like 4 legends, but that wasn't as catchy :)

  • @npagano05 How is it four?

  • Jack White is perfect in every sense of the word. Every single one of them. Oh, and I'm a dude, doesn't change a thing. Perfect.

  • I love Jack's flirtatious glances... XD

  • Not sure if anyone noticed or knows, but with 7 guitar players, I wondered why Jack bothered to play his with his bum elbow and all? He could have just sang & it would have been just as awesome.

  • @gmj2012 7 guitar players? where yu see 7 guitar players? e.e

  • @zdpxavier I watched it again last night, it was actually 6 counting Jack White. One of the back up singers played through whole show (far left, never shown face fully), the bass guitarist (black guy), Ron Wood, Keith Richards, Mick Jagger, and Jack White. That's six guitars in one song, or five guitars playing when Lick has his, or four playing continuously throughout the concert when Mick wasn't playing. WHY so many? Why outside keyboard player, bass player, horn players, etc.?

  • now thts wut i call good fucking music! :)

  • Jack is so happy singing this song!:)

  • @hujaqaa It's like his wet dream come true, wouldn't ANY musician be the same way on stage with their legendary rock star heroes??? Jack is nearly floating from just being there with Mick, and it shows in his performance. This is an amazing duet, they harmonize so well, the highlight of this DVD for me. Thanks for uploading a full version from the DVD, the others on here suck or are 52 seconds AND suck too, so very much appreciate your full & high quality version :-D

  • 2 Legends 1 Cup

  • @npagano05 The pun in this comment is priceless

  • @npagano05 2 legends? I see 5!

  • @fredystones

Definitely 4. I don't think Ron Wood is a legend, but maybe I don't know my history that well.

  • @npagano05 Ron played with The Birds, The Creation,The Jeff Beck Group, The Faces and The Rolling Stones. I think he's qualified.

  • @npagano05 i WOULD'T GO AS FAR AS CALLING JACK WHITE A LEGEND

  • @MEXMENTheGreat

    I would.

  • @npagano05 I just think he is still working his way to earn the title. try watching IT MIGHT GET LOUD and you'll see that even him would disagree

  • @MEXMENTheGreat You are wrong. Jack IS a legend. I don't know why you don't agree. But he is

  • @npagano05 you sir, are a witt 8-D

  • Together they made something nearly perfect, this video is beautiful, great song and it's even better with them, I love you both! <3

  • Maybe one of the best videos on Youtube.

  • My mother says Jack looks like a puppy following Mick around. This video is beautiful. An example of real music which has been lost recently. Bring back real music!

  • @VampirePip jack brings it back

  • ty for sharing!

    Beth
