As if you're a well travelled person that you can say that Manila is the MOST filthiest place on earth huh?? Have you been to other places or it's just Manila? Yeah, some parts are dirty but you can't generalize. Next time bring more money with you so you could see the beauty that this great city can offer.

have you been to the slums of delhi and bombay? streets of dhaka? the highways of mogadishu? to name a few ... yes manila is filthy like any other metros in the world but not all part of it ... makati is a part of manila but its not as filthy as you describe it ... it can be compared to singapore in terms of cleanliness ... and BTW hun its your opinion but pls get your facts right OK ... hong kong side streets smells like rat pees and cockroach too! also in beijing and shanghai ...

that's true, particularly for Manila, as so many toruists stay there before heading out to the resorts etc. They should put the same amenities for tourists in MM that exists in Metro Bangkok, KL etc.. that way, the whole metro will be more 'turista friendly' :)
manila's cbds look like any american city. streets are also patterned after the US compared with other asian capitals that follow british design. like Hongkong, singapore, KL.
but outside of the cbd, manila looks like bangkok 5 years ago.. in my opinion

the malls ther are some of the best and biggest in the world.
so just cut manila some slak. its an asian city all asian cities are like this. even some european cities are like this
