Elvis didn't make Staff Sergeant in 2 yrs. He made Sergeant. I don't remember the exact story, but there was a mix up on the sewing on of the strips shown at 2:04. The strips shown at 1:04,1:25, 150 Sgt. strips when you can see it, and 1:55 are all near him leaving the army, and 2:21 is Elvis leaving Germany and the Army.
lmao! my grandfather was a G.I. in germany with elvis, and he really hated elvis! im trying to see if i can find my grandfather in any of these videos, but im not having much luck. lol.
@SimsFreak0911 Why did he hate him :(. My grandaddy served with him too. He never really talked about his time served much... But he always said Elvis was real nice.

How did elvis made Staff Sergeant ( E-6 ) in 2 years while in germany.. Today, it takes approx 5-8 years to make it

Elvis made Sergeant (E-5). A dress uniform was made for him with the wrong
rank insignia, Staff Sergeant (E-6).

did he tell you the reason for his hatred towards Elvis? like being jealous that Elvis was such a nice person?
I went to school in Friedberg, and saw Elvis almost every day at his home in Bad Nauheim, where any GI of his unit was always welcome.

elvis was one terrific guy who'd give you the shirt off his back.
He was a bit shy though, but once he got to know you, he was your friend for life.
Elvis was one of the kindest and nicest guys I've ever met in my life
