I really hope it is not legalized, just another way for our kids to get their hands on another drug, do we really need another legal drug? marjuana should be legalized because marjuana is not a drug but a herb and when people feel like shit marjuana makes all your pain go away. Marjuana dose not hurt a person and you can only get high if you want to get high. And if you are high you feel better and your not going to act like a nut job when you smoke marjuana. ill just never understand how its legal to go have 12 beers drive home sleep 6 hrs get up and go to work the next day maybe not noticibly see there continued intoxication from the night before but yet still get away with it but on the other hand im not allowed to smoke a joint at home in the evening or even 3 hits for that matter that is proven to last nothing more than just a few hours.. doesnt make sense people. The story about the killing the guy and dumping his body is way off. I was involved in the case b/c the Carlisle DA pulled me aside after witnessing at a previous trial. he asked if I knew anything about the murder and I said "just rumors" who I had heard form girls and guys who hung out at Matt (Smokey's) Frat house. They all did a lot of drugs and their parties were crazy, 600+ kids i a basement.

@GameICY i remember at one point, SIX of my friends were in jail for holding. not selling, not bagged up for sale, just personal use, i couldn't help but think, there is 3 cells used up, who could be in those cells who really deserve to be there. i then did a search of child predators within about `25 miles of the prison, there was over 300. i suddenly felt very sick.

The laws of Cumberland County may be lenient but other states have mandatory jail sentences for possession of marijuana even if it is for personal use. Also, even if you don't go to jail for it, the arrest still gets put on your record and you still lose scholarships and get denied jobs just because you got caught smoking some pot.That's why it needs to be decriminalized.Legalizing will only improve the situation by creating federal income and getting rid of the dangerous underground market

I find it interesting that Cheech/Chong and other movies showing pot humor in a fictional context can be shown all over network TV in America, even during the daytime, but it seems impossible to get educational material about marijuana on TV, like the show, "Marijuana, It's Time For A Conversation" with Rick Steves.

Meanwhile, you have drugs being advertised by big pharma warning of all sorts of *possible* side effects, alcohol, etc.
