I know this is an old video, but I just have a question about this transitioning thing. How did it like, start? You came out to your parents and friends and stuff, but then what? Was it a long prosses?
i've never met anyone thats transgender but that doesn't mean your any different than anyone else your you. people shouldn't judge you because of that.
I tried telling my best friend I'm trans. He refuses to take it seriously. Now I'm doubting myself as I have always had a loose grasp on gender identification. What if I've just been lying to myself and settled on being male because I don't like the 'normal' female identity? I'm just lost right now. I have no idea who I am any more and I can't stand the idea of losing anyone in my life over something I could ignore. I don't know why I'm writing this. I guess I have nobody near me who can help.

Nobody "decides" to be transgender.
Also, if someone goes from female-to-male, it's because they didn't feel female. They were never mentally female. Doesn't mean there's anything wrong with being a girl, it just means that they weren't a girl (mentally, of course). Have you heard of the phrase "boy in a girl's body"?
Please, don't take me as rude. I'm just stating my opinion. If you were only missing a uterus, then technically you were/are a girl. Some women just don't have one. My mom doesn't anymore, but she still is female. What was it that made you "non-female" anyway? I didn't hear you state it in your announcement video. And you could have just had the surgery to because full female.....

I don't want to say her name because she's still unconfurtable about it being open yet but she has just resently become a woman, and many people are hammering her down for that and as a friend I love her and it kills me to see her suffer. I was just watching your 7months on T and I had to check this old video just to see the difference/changes that happened in these 7 months. I was shocked. I forgot how you sounded before and I got so used to your voice being deeper that it was a real suprise when I heard you in this one. I've also said that gender shouldn't limit what you cosplay but cosplay has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with gender and being transgender. The answer to "why not stay a girl" is simply that I cannot. And i don't think that you look much different or sound very different, which is cool, since that's one less thing to get used to all over again. I'd imagine that it makes life easier.
I've wanted to be male most of my life, but I have a lot of the same fears you've mentioned. I don't think I could ever bring myself to become male. It would be nice if people could just be born how they feel, but everyone know that's not always likely. I know that majority of my family and friends wouldn't agree with me changing. You've got an amazing group of friends. I lost a lot of mine once me and my girlfriend started going out, but then again we live in Virginia. It's not exactly a gay friendly state. But we've made quite a few homosexual and transgender friends/couples from other states since then. Hopefully if all goes well, we'll be Canada bound in the future. I kinda want to become a guy, but don't. . . i feel a tad uncomfortable in my won body sometimes, and don't like having breast sometimes (a lot). And i've told some of my friends and they just said "your just guyish" and stuff like that, and they dont like it.

Twin, I understand what you are going through. Not that long ago, a friend of mine named Georgia decided that she was uncomfortable with her body and wanted to become a male. At first, I was shocked, but as I listened to what she had to say, I understood her decision. When she went to confront her parents about the idea, I was in the same room as her. Now, almost a yt later, George is happy! :)

Hey, I just want to say, I've been watching your progress as you go through this transition, and I think it's absolutely awesome that you're being true to yourself throughout the whole thing. This particular video struck me because I am in the process myself of coming out as a bisexual female with a female girlfriend to my family and certain friends who don't know. I've also said that gender shouldn't limit what you cosplay but cosplay has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with gender and being transgender. The answer to "why not stay a girl" is simply that I cannot. I am not a girl, therefore i cannot be a girl.

I am lesbian but i came just out to my best friends and my sister, but your videos give me the Courage to came out to other persons. i know, its different to be Transgender as "just" to be lesbian, i think its lot more difficult for you.

Oh, and I also think you're super brave. And one thing that amuses the heck outta me is I look vaguely like you. Strange, but true. Same basic facial structure. And i don't think that you look much different or sound very different, which is cool, since that's one less thing to get used to all over again. I'd imagine that it makes life easier.

I've wanted to be male most of my life, but I have a lot of the same fears you've mentioned. I don't think I could ever bring myself to become male. It would be nice if people could just be born how they feel, but everyone know that's not always likely. I know that majority of my family and friends wouldn't agree with me changing. One thing I get told quite a bit is "You're a pretty girl". You are very brave! Good luck sir.

You've got an amazing group of friends. I lost a lot of mine once me and my girlfriend started going out, but then again we live in Virginia. It's not exactly a gay friendly state. But we've made quite a few homosexual and transgender friends/couples from other states since then. Hopefully if all goes well, we'll be Canada bound in the future. I kinda want to become a guy, but don't. . . i feel a tad uncomfortable in my won body sometimes, and don't like having breast sometimes (a lot). And i've told some of my friends and they just said "your just guyish" and stuff like that, and they dont like it.
And if i ever was i guy i would do alot of girly things like shave and junk like that.
when people say her or girl to me i feel kinda odd like "o yeah, i'm a girl. Odd"

Twin, I understand what you are going through. Not that long ago, a friend of mine named Georgia decided that she was uncomfortable with her body and wanted to become a male. At first, I was shocked, but as I listened to what she had to say, I understood her decision. When she went to confront her parents about the idea, I was in the same room as her. Now, almost a yt later, George is happy! :)

Dude, the crew cut adds to the look of male and such. You cant really expect to hear your own voice change, its one of the things you dont notice like most things with a persons body. Dude, I totally love and respect what you did and what you are doing right now. There are so many people who just don't understand the person other people really are inside and just judge them because they're not like them and their different and they don't like different people. But every time I find someone opening up to me, or to the public, I always feel so proud of them for being their own person and for being brave. It makes me just want to throw a marathon for them.
