Very nice job, a little too busy on the lights,,,, tone them down 1/4 to 1/2 and you have a perfect B-Club. Oh and the pole by the bar need to be chromed LOL.
@Rodaman1 Yea, I need to finish the basement, there are no walls or floor it’s all concrete. I rarely run a full display like this, it’s just to show off the lights. They actually all change through the whole video so if you did not watch the whole thing you did not see everything. I have another video posted that has the normal display running, much darker and not so busy. Check it out if you want, you can see the floor lasers better in that video.
Cool video...Reminds me a little of my basement/arcade! There is a video on my set up on my youtube.com channel. It highlights the arcade but you can see the dance floor stuff as well!
@DJMannyMac I don't have any to sell at the moment but my best advice would be to check e-bay and your local guitar center. Guitar center has great deals on used display and traded in lights. I usually buy them used and broken, fix them up and trade them in for newer ones. I am slowly moving over to LED lights as they don't require expensive bulbs and use much less electricity. The Martin Roboscan Osram bulbs are $130 each! I will keep a few oldies but goodies ;)
i like your light show and all all jokes aside but you have too much going on in it if you narrow them down some you will have a verry nice light&sound system/show

I still have loads to fix but ran out of room. I also still need a better sub, I am using a JBL MPRO active 18" sub and I still need a folded horn, just don't have the room for it. The JBL 18 sounds awesome but I need more SPL.
I custom built the VU meter that is on the front of the DJ coffin. It is on the 2nd output of the mixer and does not correspond to the volume just looks cool in the fog. I was thinking of doing a wall VU meter but there is no room.

@juniordodger1 The derbys in the back are LED (Chauvet double derby) and so is the center moon flower (Chauvet View IV). There are 12 mirror lights, the ones I think you like are the Martin Roboscan 812's (my favorite).

I still have about 10 more lights to hook up but I am out of room LOL! It gets very hot after about 10min with everything cycling however I rarely ever run the display like this. Most of the time I only run a few see "My Basement Night Club (toned down a bit)"
More is not always better, Its not a contest to see how many lights you can run all at the same time without blowing a transformer. If it was you would win for sure.
@prepinohio They are not all on, 75% of the lights I have can not run 100% duty cycle, 5min on and 15off max. The LED and the arc discharge lights can run all the time. The lasers have to cycle too but I push them too hard. Check my other video, I normally do not run the light display this way.
This video was taken with fog. I would like to get a real haze machine but a fog machine works best for light and laser shows. You can't really see the laser beams because there is too much other lights on. If I only light the lasers then you can see the beams however I only have red, green and yellow lasers so its not as awesome looking as the Y2L millenniums.
You can get a few lights for 1G note, I would recommend a 4 light setup with a controller, American DJ makes a few of them. You can check them out at guitar center.
I am still adding stuff, I have 4 new strobes and 4 new Y2L Millennium type lights. Need to add a moving rope light in 3 colors around the ceiling with a DMX dimmer controller, 2 more Roboscans and perhaps another row of Par lights on the other side of the room, then it's done, I think. Oh there is a wall projector in the back that projects behind the DJ booth that was not on for this video, it displays the name of the song and a kaleidoscope that moves to the music when using Virtual DJ.
It would take about 20Gs to get a setup like this, and a little know how on programming a DMX operator 192 controller among other things. This is a 8000W system and the only thing I am missing is a folded horn sub (on my Christmas list) to shake the room. The Mpro 18" sub I am using now sounds great but I need more SPL to move that drink in your hand LOL! I should be getting my B-52 or Cerwin-Vega 18" folded horn soon, that should be enough to cause some pain!
