  • if azibuke would have given the ball to sparks we would have another final 4 banner in rupp

  • And watching Azubuike not even getting a shot off in 1OT...ALL OF MY RAGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

  • As the most diehard UK fan you can fathom, and more than that...this was one of the most painful losses I've ever had to deal with. Thats why I want to play Michigan State ASAP...even after all these years...but we can finally go ahead and pick up Championship #8 this year? God, its a dream...that I hope within a week or so becomes total reality...UK can actually win their 8th championship next week! Its still soaking in...Damn, I still wish we had won this gall dern game. We coulda won it all.

  • @CellarDoor06 Yea kentucky had a hell of a team that year!

  • @jamare456 We sure did, man.

  • That was a 2 pointer at the end, doesn't matter though. MSU still won.

  • Greatest Elite Eight EVER. On top of this CLASSIC, you had Illinois coming back and beating Arizona, Louisville coming back and beating West Virginia as well as Wisconsin giving a tough, grind-it-out performance before bowing out to eventual champion North Carolina.

  • This one still hurts...

  • ha ha Ashley Judd

  • Thank God Tubby left!

  • Patrick Sparks was awesome. I remember this game, and I remember crying when it was over.

  • What's the matter kentucky you are trailing 59-45 by west virginia with 4.25 left see i knew your tradition was fading away lol

  • @jamare456 I know you don't understand punctuation and sentence structure! lol!

  • @ajgree6 Are you insulting my intelligence?

  • @jamare456 Don't make unintelligent comments like Kentucky's tradition is fading away and we'll be fine. What do you base your perception of Kentucky upon? Tubby Smith had a winning percentage of nearly 80%. If you're a Spartan fan, I doubt Tom Izzo's is that high. He's just had more success in the tournament. Kentucky has won a lot and even overtaken North Carolina and Kansas in all time wins since '98. We just haven't been to the final four since then. Just like this game-close but no cigar.

  • @ajgree6 You had to wait a year later to reply back SMH?

  • @ajgree6 The tournament is where it all matter's tho! not winning 80% of your games in a regular season

  • @jamare456 and who was in the final four this year? kentucky or michigan state? ah, that's right! i remember! it was kentucky. michigan state should have been playing in the NIT but they got a nice little favor and ended up getting beat in the first round. take care, bro.

  • @jamare456 You can make a different case for ever program. It just depends on how you define greatness. If your standard is National Championships, you would probably say UCLA cause they have the most. If you want the team who has been best recently, it'd either be Duke or Carolina. If you want overall consistency in winning AND has final fours, national championships, conference titles and championships to boot you would say Kentucky. All things go in cycles. UK has been cold but will be back.

  • @jamare456 If we wanna talk current events looks like Farty might night make the tournament they are 16-13 against D-1 team this year 17 - 13 overall. UK traditon will never fade away dummy Michigan St does have a tremendous run and program the past 12 years. Much better showing than the Cats in the tourney as well but whatch what ya say Farty could be going through a drought like UK you guys didn't do much from 79 too 98 tourney wise and another LONG drought looks like this year HELLO NIT.

  • @toddky32 Like i said you Don't wait after a year to comment back on a video that just sounds like a sore loser! except what it is and move on.

  • @toddky32 And 1 more thing you said hello N.I.T. right? your wrong! it's HELLO NCAA TOURNEY MSU just beated Purdue today 74-56 in the big 10 tourney in chicago that means they will go to the tourney for the 14th year straight! how many teams other than duke to have a tournament streak like that?

BTW i see your wildcats are ranked #16 in the country.Your ok but let's see how you will do in the tourney! GO STATE

  • @jamare456 Wow you beat Purdue lets drop the confetti a team notorious for getting upset this time of year. Your right though State definatley is a lock now and as always will be tough in the tourney. Lucas (I know I prob spelled his name wrong) dropped 30 I think. Yeah the Cats are 15th in the AP poll and would love too see them get a 3 seed maybe steal a 2 see but they have too win the SEC Tournament. I think they will do fine in the tourney but this year who knows who will win it. GO CATS !

  • @toddky32 MSU might make another run in the tournament!

  • @jamare456 There always tough in the tournament I would not underestimate them a bit . My Cats got a bad deal in the East and a 4 seed but ohhh well lol

  • @toddky32 Congratz on your Final Four! Good luck!

  • @jamare456 Thanks dude I appreciate that hopefully we can bring home # 8 What a crazy tournament lol Your Spartans will be back next year no doubt in my mind Izzo is one of the best coaches in the country. They have always had my respect that near comeback against UCLA shows you what kind of heart that his teams had. They almost did the unthinkable but Michigan St will be back it would be killer if UK and Michigan state was both in the Final Four next year. Thanks for the luck bro we need it lol

  • great game -- surprised MSU came back and won in OT after that buzzer beater - typical Spartan grind it out win.

  • @occlude32 You heard what that advertiser said,The spartans are playing with desperation,Knowing it's no tomorrow!

  • @jamare456 Michigan State always plays like that , thats one of the reasons there a GREAT tournament team . Much respect for Sparty , GO CATS !!!

  • I remember watching this game with my dad on Easter I believe... We both said that is the closest we ever seen a 3 in our years of watching basketball... one phenomenal game that was part of the phenomenal weekend that was the 2005 ncaa tournament

  • yea but i still think it should of counted as a 2 because his tip toe was on the line
