  • It was my understanding the core prefers to keep these things away from the media. Just as all the humvee's that get hit by ieds.

Did you film this in 2008?

  • must be a very erry place to be thinking of how many lifes were lost in those tanks

  • @dstrong1337

    you have no idea.....

  • tax dollars !

  • Are thoose vehichles just left up? I mean that noone's moving them anywhere form there?

Nice video i like it, kinda sad to see mighty machine destroyed.

  • @KiintoisiatVideota

No, they vanished the next day in the middle of the night. Heard they were sent stateside to use for parts but I can;t be 100% sure of that.

  • are they american tanks??

  • @marcusos1111

    Is this a trick question?

  • @IraqCTR no, but yeah i just realized it is americans tanks

  • Is this the same graveyard as your other video, because if so it looks like there is alot less armor there now, or did this video not so most of the graveyard.

  • The video didn't show everything at every angle. To the front of the video you saw, there was not much. It was all to the left and right of it.

  • Where is this located?

  • FOB Al Taqaddum in Al Anbar Province of Iraq

  • You should have seen the one we had in Kuwait, from Desert Storm, That sh#t looked spooky and had that spookey silence to it like this one. Thanks for the vid bro, and thanks for your service.

  • It was spooky wasn't it? Surreal in many ways... The silence spoke volumes of what happened to those tanks and their crews.

When I saw it from the road, I knew I had to film it for everyone to see. So much destruction and untold misery, I could not help but documented it for all.

  • It was a pleasure to serve. Thank you so much for all your support back home, It made a difference -believe me!

  • I have been exposed to an expended Sabo Round, and have been near, and have stood on a couple of destroyed T-72's over in the Persian Gulf during Desert Storm/ Shield and I think I am now having symptoms of Gulf War Syndrome, so tell all friends over there to stay far away from destroyed T-72, and Iraqi Artillery. We did not know, they did not tell us!

  • They have pretty much cleaned up all thise messes. It was one thing I saw them do in lots of bases I was at. Last one I saw was at Victory base near the fuel point. But it had a barb wire perimeter all around it wit signs posted about the dangers of the depleted armor.

Hope u are doing OK man.

  • Hey bro go get yourself checked for depleted uranium poisoning, standing right on top of those tanks is lethal, I have heard that our military is still using depleted uranium over in Iraq to. They didn't learn their lesson from the Persian Gulf. You may be safe if those are all of our tanks, but any T-72's, or Iraqi Howitzers you stand on beware they are toxic with radiation poisioning...

  • I did, I'm good thanks Bro.

  • i dont understand.... ive only read about 4-5 times that a m1 was totaled and in these clips you see many many more

  • Well, u saw the video, someone is lying...

  • in 0:04 you can see an endless line of scrapped vehicles

  • Spooky. Wonder what it's like at night...

Most of them aren't damaged on the interiour majorly right? I mean usually the crew makes it...

  • No idea if the crew made it. I imagine when they put a tarp on it that they did not. There were a few out here like that. Definitely spooky, especially when all this damaged stuff just showed u-p here overnight!
