acho que foi meio infeliz o comentario do Prost dizendo que tinha de tudo um pouco a favor do Ayrton nessa corrida, muito pelo contrario, tudo estava a desfavor, incluindo o motor do carro dele que era 100 cavalos menos potente do que o Renault da Williams. Quem foi feliz nos comentarios foram o Berger e o Damon Hill, eles realmente elogiaram o Ayrton, admirando a habilidade e o talento que ele tinha na chuva.

o ayrton era realmente um mestre na pista molhada, ninguem na historia da formula 1 teve tanta habilidade para andar na chuva como ele andava, eu acho que na pista molhada ele tinha o dobro do talento que ele tinha na pista seca, enquanto os outros pilotos iam devagar com medo de rodar na pista e sair fora da corrida, ele metia o pé bem fundo no acelerador e ia passando todo mundo sem pedir licensa, como o Berger disse, fazendo todos de bobos. Great traction controls of the Mclaren. Even Michael Andretti, a bad driver of formula 1, overtakes Schumacher (without traction controls) as you can see in 1:10! Even Andretti was very fast that day with the Mclaren, so Senna had the best car that day.

But in BArcelona 92, Senna had no traction controls, like Schumacher... and Senna crashed when he could not be as fast as Schumacher!!

Sennas era was all about power, grab the car by the balls and throw it around a track, Schumachers era was more dictated by aerodynamics and 'smootheness' Treat a car in the 2000's like a car from the 80's and it would be off the track. Treat an 80's car like a 2000's car and you would be at the back of the grid.

The Mclaren raced all the year with the Ford HBE7 3.5 V8, Benetton has the Ford HBA7 3.5 V8, and Ford HBA8 3.5 V8. So its not the same engine. And even with that, Senna fought for the title winning 5 races, finishing in 2nd with 73 points against 52 for Schumacher.

Both of them have 7 positive results against each other, so Schumy was not so faster than Senna in "many races" as you say, and Senna had an inferior car.

McLaren ran the entire season with a Ford HBE7 V8, and Benetton started with the better HBA7 V8 and improved to the HBA8 V8. McLaren never had such engines.

Schumacher had a better car most of the season and Senna kicked his ass anyway... 5 victories for Senna and only 1 to Schumacher.
