I live on 126 acres in southern Oregon and we have so many Bears it's crazy. I was deer hunting the other day and a black bear walk up behind me. It stooped about 15 feet away within the same set of 3 Hawthorne trees I was standing under. If you want bear southern oregon is the place to be.
