Now I see where Zelda: Ocarina of Time got its ending from. It would've been so sweet if Link found out Ganondorf was his father before the castle collapsed.

Ancient Ship of Doom is by far the toughest of the three. In fact, just last week, I made it to stage 7! Waiting for the right time to try to finish it since I'm on my last continue or two. Ninja Gaiden to this day remains tough to beat even the new ones

Maybe you can try playing this game using "Game Genie." All three of these NES Ninja Gaiden games are listed in Game Genie however, the first game is hard to play with or without Game Genie because, there is a code for Infinite Lives but, there's no code for Infinite Energy but, in the second and third games there is Infinite Lives and Infinite Energy (on the second game, the code for Infinite Energy is called "Almost Invincible.")

This games teach you to never give up, to always face the challenges by hard they could be and to use the brain.

I hate this ending, mainly because they played some cruel tricks:
-Reveal that Ryu's dad is not dead, but alive after Stage 5
-Reveal that Ryu's dad is not only alive, but the first Final boss after Stage 6
-Ryu's dad dies after the battle.
Why would they have him dead to start off, then bring him back, only to kill him off? What a twist! Great game, though. So happy to have finally beat this legit.
@Demondscott I beat the game without save states too. The first levels were easy enough, but since the 5 the game started to be hard and in the final level was the HELL, maybe that was the hardest level that I've ever played in my life. Jacquio was one of the biggest mothefuckers that I've ever fought. I defeated the crazy mutant thing in the first fight but It almost killed me! (I had only 3 life bars when I dealed the final blow, and each attack of that thing remove 3 life points)
This is great. This was state of the art Graphics at the time complete with long dialog and drama. Better than a puny 10 second 3D FMV for an ending like a lot of games today.

Sakurazaki can write one hell of a yarn. I was was shocked to see that the world famous WIld Tagou took part in the Art Works. Kevin and Daniel of course did one hell of a job translating.

I believe this was finished on an emulator, not on the nes. Ive played games on emulators where one can adjust settings so its kinda like a game genie. Also there are many boot-leg versions of original nes games now where one can actualy program it to start at the final scene, full health and all. But if im wrong and this is the real deal from the nes......BIG TIME PROPZ!!!!!!!

This game was insanely hard but not impossible :) I was like 14 or 15 when I beat it, no game genie codes or cheats of any kind. The AVGN review was funny and at time so very accurate lol

Well, there WAS a game in the 80s with a blow job scene, it just happened to be a boxing game with a bizarre agenda. Ring King for the NES. Check it out, your cutman apparently gives you a blowjob in between rounds. There's nothing else it could be, it's a blowjob.

@InfernoPhoenix322 Yeah, you gotta gt 666666 points. You also gotta get through the game without taking a single hit, and in under 45 minutes. If you can also kill all of the bosses in one hit, Ryu cums all over her face in the ending.

las melodias de ninja gaiden,recogen el sentimiento tragico de las antiguas historias sobre ninjas,en mi opinion tienen dicha esencia,aparte la historia de ninja gaiden,(al menos la de NES),esta muy bien elaborada,y tendria un buen argumento cinematografico

if you listen carefully, the beginning of the ending music sounds like that beat from the theme music from romeo and juliet. As a matter of fact, they sound identical. was this intentional or coincidental?

Sakurazaki can write one hell of a yarn. I was was shocked to see that the world famous WIld Tagou took part in the Art Works. Kevin and Daniel of course did one hell of a job translating.

Sure you can beat it fairly only there is many many deaths in between you and that victory. I did it many times as a 7 year old kid 21 years. lol Dug out the NES from the attic today and got to the 5 level and kept dying over and over so I figured I'd just see the ending on here, lol

Epic. It was rare to get a worthwhile ending to a game on the NES, but this is certainly one of them. Got me so psyched for the next game!

I only beat part 2. My favorite one of all ninja gaiden.. But then again I've never really owned or played part 1 and 3.

I believe this was finished on an emulator, not on the nes. Ive played games on emulators where one can adjust settings so its kinda like a game genie. Also there are many boot-leg versions of original nes games now where one can actualy program it to start at the final scene, full health and all. But if im wrong and this is the real deal from the nes......BIG TIME PROPZ!!!!!!!

Dude, read the description. He even says that this was done on an emulator and a Game Genie, reason being so that he can showcase the ENDING, not actually "beating" the game.

This game was insanely hard but not impossible :) I was like 14 or 15 when I beat it, no game genie codes or cheats of any kind. The AVGN review was funny and at time so very accurate lol
