The beautiful irony of Ian's speech here is perfect. just take out the word "Wizard" and insert "Gay," then you have a typical idiotic interview with any Hollywood hunk who's played a gay guy in the past ten years. The fact that he's playing a part should be obvious and yet... so many feel the need to explain that it's "just a role."
Of course, but you are aware that he is "not a Wizard." Hence the irony, it's about all the straight actors who play a gay role then feel it necessary to proclaim that they're are in fact "not gay!" every time they have an interview about the part.
That is who this episode is spoofing In the end Andy foils the play because of the idea that he might be perceived as gay when he should have no more concern for such things as Sir Ian might as being perceived as "a real Wizard."
What?! He's not actually a wizard?!

Every time when I look it, I see new things. It's so brilliant. Ian is brilliant. The part of Andy is huge too.

Not as funny as Patricks Stewarts but I think I heard Johnny Depp give acting tips like this. To be honest he was high on coke at the time.
