you can tell your board is too smooth in some spots - this was pretty cool though. I used to love the sound of writing on a chalk board. Most schools today have those white marker boards...too bad for the kids.

Thank you so much for uploading this! Ive only been able to find half-assed vids like this. Either they didnt care about the chalk screeching or the sounds were so sharp it was hardly relaxing. I find it funny that I have no trouble falling asleep on my own but with these sounds you record I fall asleep faster. I also just listen to these on my down time while reading a book or somesuch. Keep up the wonderful work :3

oh myyyy gosh. this is so relaxing! it reminds me of 3rd grade when the teacher used to draw on the board and make dots with her chalk. my eyes would roll back in my head! if you weren't such a trusted sleep/relax inducer, i would've been scared there would have been random scratching of nails on the board or something. lol. this is awesome. please, please do more!

@christentze Haha it's funny you say that, this is actually my third test recording, as the other 3 had a few accidental "screeches" from the chalk itself, as it sometimes happens.. so I was trying to get a perfect recording of just chalk sounds. It took me a while to get a full recording that didn't have any of those accidents :) I'm glad you enjoyed it and that it helped you! I will definitely look into possibly doing some more chalk work.

I like hearing people whisper (but not understanding what they re saying, just random bits of words like hard thinking while studying. Or a video with the sound of someone taking things out of a bag / purse and just randomly digging around.

I would appreciate it, I am a big fan of your work.
