The first one I liked, but the second one they just tried to re-produce the electronic sounds of the original using acoustic instruments.

Unlike witht he first song where they re-interpreted the song a a classical tune.

it seems that the impact to those "classical musicians" as you call them must must have been enormous so they included it to their playing list. i personally find it very interesting & pretty sure Kraftwerk will find it the same.

The Balanescu Quartet did the same some years ago.They even recorded a whole album with string covers of Kraftwerk,called 'Possesed'.If you like this,you should check it,it's similar.

Quel talent ces musiciens !! Aussi bien la reprise de "Das Model" que The robots sont réussies et agréables à attendre !! Le plus amusant, c'est qu'en général, l'évolution musicale va des instruments classiques aux instruments électroniques, voire à la MAO, et là, c'est l'inverse qui se produit !! Génial !!
