  • also water? not milk?

  • @GraceJonesBoiis My breadmaker calls for both...water and DRY milk for one of my recipes.

  • why do they not come with a manual? that's just stupid lol

  • @GraceJonesBoiis She was referring to bread machines bought at a garage sale. People don't keep manuals very often, so used ones don't have a manual....

  • @orangebeetlejuice Ah Well I see! I don't live in the USA, we have boot sales here - but I never go to them lol so I do not have the experience of boot/garage sales lol x

  • And they wonder why so many people are overweight and diabetic!

  • THANKS, my husband gave me a bread maker 5 years ago and it was sitting in my storage room cause I had no instructions or a clue as to how to use it. Your video is fantastic and now I can use my bread maker! I've been dreaming of this day!

  • Fantastic video. I feel much less intimidated by the idea of buying a machine. In fact, I'm motivated to go out and get one. Thanks alot! You should have your own TV show!

  • you can always google the breadmaker manuel instructions online, I find that your bread comes out better if you bake it in the oven, I only use my breadmaker for hard part... the kneading..... - adorable son! Best wishes...

  • so considering the cost of a breadmaker, electricity, ingreadients and time and labour-how long would it take to before I start saving money? I pay 65p for a full loaf at present and use 1 loaf a week

  • @didijustdothat1 well. i did the conversion and the British price for bread is a bit cheaper than the American average of about 1.40. She said 0.60 cents not pence. If you bought a used machine, say for 5-10 pounds, it would probably be cheaper in the long term. However I can't factor electricity, because I don't know how much it costs in the UK.

  • dont add anything until you make sure the yeast is active by adding the water and sugar first.

  • BE CAREFUL. Bread machines break after a few months of regular usage if the mechanical solution for transmitting force from the engine to the vat relies on two tabs made from bended plate that are stressed from both sides. A solution comparable to Uri Geller's spoons. I've got a broken Backmeister 8625.

  • i gushed at the end.... your baby is so cute

  • Thanks, this is very informative :)

  • very cool! the wife said we had a machine .she got about 2 years ago for $4.00.I downloaded an mannual. Now im the Banana bread master. Now im lookin to do sour douh etc..after all ive learned I dont see why people buy bead at the store.Thxs a bunch.

  • 2 yrs ago my husband ask what i wanted for my birthday. i told him a breadman bread machine. i haven't brought a loaf of bread since!!!! i love it. one of the best things i own.

  • Thank you so very much for this... A friend gave me a bread machine and I have had it sitting around since New Year's. Going to try to make some bread after seeing you presentation! Thank you! And I am another person that absolutely LOVES your kitchen! (^_^)

  • U can Google the recipes

  • thank you so much! make more videos you explain everything so well

  • Wow, talk about a no nonsense video! Nice ...

  • Why is it your machine take only 3 and a half hours to make bread and other machines take 13 hours

  • Thanks for this video! I dont have any instructions with my bread maker, and I was worried that it was going to be too complicated to use!

  • You should add your salt to the water so as not to activate your yeast prematurly.

  • whats that on yellow bottle....is that mayo...hmmmm.. you so sweet,,,,i like your video...your nice voice,,,also how to explain thing so clear ,,,bravo,,,,,bravo,,,,

  • can you guesstimate how much electricity it uses?

  • yeahh..thanks a lot..I was about to throw away my bread maker.. Thanks so much. I wish you could make more video of different recipes..pleasseee...

  • That bread looks yummy

  • the baby was the highlight what a buitifull smile

  • For bread machine, especially on overnight timer, it is good idea to separate the salt and yeast. Put salt in one corner of the pan, while yeast is usually placed in the center "pit".

  • Oh my gosh ty so much for this!!!! I sooo want to try a bread maker for my family!!! love fresh baked bread!!! <3 <3 <3 Going to get second hand one to try :)

  • Would be great if u had sliced through it to show us the bread's inside and/or compared it with a regular baker's loaf... so u make fresh bread everyday?

  • Google manuals online and the break maker manufacturer.

I ended up inheriting one, use it regularily now, if you pick one up and need the manual, these guys have most manuals for breakmakers. I used to make break by hand for years, but I find the bread maker saves a tonne of clean up afterwards.

You might want to proof the yeast first for 10 minutes and coat the "bowl" with olive oil.

  • Great video...thank you for sharing!! What a CUTE baby & the clutter free kitchen looks spectaclular! :)

  • the baby gonna know how to cook

  • You fucking cheaters.

  • nice helper, only thing they don't stay that size long enough!!

    great advice!!

  • what about the spent electric power :p did you calculate that?

  • does anyone know if you can use active dry yeast or do i need one that says bread machine yeast? i just got a bread machine and i am trying to get the ingredients right

  • I plan to send this link to my grown children that never paid attention when I was baking bread from scratch- now they will be able to make great bread as well, plus I got a bread maker for myself at the thrift store for $6.00! This video really helped.

  • A bowl, and a pan... that's my bread machine! Suck it noobz!

  • Hi ~ just wanted to say thank you, I hadn't pulled my bread maker out in years. I pulled it out today excited to start using it & thinking I hadn't even gotten my money out of it - I had only used it a couple of times. I was looking at it trying to remember what all the pieces were for and how to use it. You covered all my questions and now I am going to look up more recipes! again thanx! Now I will be making some bread for the holidays! =)

  • Gail, a quick thanks!

Following your excellent example and instructions, I baked a loaf of bread for the very first time! Using a bread machine my mom ordered one of those late night cable TV shows, but she never got around to using, I searched the net for information. Only here on Youtube were there any clues of how to go about it.

You made some important points that put me at ease.

    1. Most of the bread machines are pretty much the same.

    2. Having the right ingredients measured and ready!

  • that baby loves bread making...

  • What kind of bread maker are you using? Which brand?

    Nice video.

  • Thank you for posting this. My friend moved on to baking bread in the oven and gave me her bread machine..with no manual. I'm going to make my first loaf this weekend!

  • you make it look so easy- I bought a machine from thrift shop its a well billt -

It came with a manual - I followed instructions exactly but my bread will not rise. I tried adding more yeast and more sugar - numerous different ways all together 6 times but each time I got the same result... small load not properly risen

    What am I doing wrong?

  • poor don't have internet.

  • Thank you so much for teaching me how to use my breadmaker! (^_^)

  • You're great thanks very much for that! I will now go buy a breadmaker!!

  • It is much better to take the pan out of the machine before adding all the ingredients so you do not spill anything inside the machine, which would make an awful mess once baked on the inside of the machine...yuk.

Then all you do it replace the pan with all the ingredients back into the machine with the ingredients inside the pan. Clean and easy

  • Nice advice

  • What a cute baby!

  • great vid my wife got a bread make at a yard sale, cant wate to get home and try thxs a bunch

  • i always thought breadmaking was so tedious. but it's true, one cannot ignore the cost saving. thanks for a great video!

  • nice! thanks for sharing! in return ill share some of my money saving techniques. use reverse charge call services whenever using mobile phones just like the service 08000mumdad. cheers!

  • Tell me what you discovered after the bread is baked... I'm in the Netherlands. I just bought my Panasonic SD-255 and still enjoys my Breadman Pro which has a unique jaccuzzi built-inside... heheh...yeah, its awesome with puffs and/or steam buns!!!

  • I don't take risks with kitchen and burn outs to a grilled home after some foreman shows up to douse the house from flames... it happens with the odd ones... do you want to be in that classification??? Don't leave yr home then ...AT ALL!

About the paddle, remove it at the last remaining 1,20 ins. Just open the lid, after cleaning yr hands with detergent/soap/gel and simply go below and lift up the paddle from the center pin. Close the lid...Voila.

  • After baking my own since 2004, I've gathered quite a regular motion in handling just about right with my paddles being removed in good time and also, unlike many who presumed after the average 3,30 minutes of uninterrupted baking on its own, I bake mine and see to it, I'm around no matter what!!!

  • thank you !!!

it was fun to watch and to learn a new thing, hihick .... and I love your baby's sweet laugh!!

    good job!!

    TFS!!

  • nice kichen

  • Can you take that paddle out after the first process (knreading?)... so there is no indentation?? Someone said that in a comment for another breadmachine video but i didn't know if that was true (I'm thinking about getting a breadmachine)

  • 5 stars from Me, Thanks Madam ....

  • Thanks! Amazing Video! I

  • I just got my bread maker today for $12 second hand. I am so glad I found this video so now I can start to use it. Thanks so much!

  • Thank you so much. I will buy one breadmaker and send to my mother that lives in Brazil.

    Thank you!

    Very cute babe.

    :-)

  • the machine should beep when the dough is done mixing to tell you to remove the kneading paddle thingy..

thanks for the recipe! i just got a breadmaker for my 15th birthday yesterday haha

  • Love this thanks! I've had a bread maker for 2 years and never used! I'm going to try this right now! Great job!

  • you are very charming you know that? nice videos keep posting

  • If u use regular flour is it the all purpose or self rising kind?

  • It makes noises like a baby. I'd get that looked at.

  • Sweet Lady has a great personality,

The hole at the bottom of the bread can be avoided if you remove the paddle once the dough is ready, the machine beeps when is done.

  • Thank you very much for sharing.

  • nicest video I ever wach.

  • WOW, I'm currently making my 1st loaf right now.

  • Good video. One thing: Most of the bread machines I have seen recommend that you put in the flour next-to-last and then the yeast last, so it is separated from the sugar/salt/water. I'm not sure why, because as soon as you turn the machine on, it mixes everything together. But that's just what I've seen.

  • some use delay timers, so if it got premixed, it wouldnt rise once the machine actully started mixing

  • It is important to put yeast last, because if the yeast touches the water it will start to activate too soon! :)

  • Looks delicious! I always make the fast setting bread, I will try others like yours! Dried berries sound wonderful!

  • Good video.....now I want a breadmaker!

  • Thank you for presenting a well thought out video. Your preparation shows. I loved that you have a clean kitchen, and said everything in a concise manner.

  • thanks for the video post!

  • awesome. there's a breadmaker in my kitchen and i never knew how to use it. hopefully it'll turn out to be...edible...yes. hahaha

  • I will admit that I had previously found the task of bread-making somewhat daunting, but your video was motivation for me to get a breadmaker and start baking! Thanks =)

  • zzzzzzzandaz - If I had thought of it, I would have used that as a tagline - More Bread in Your Wallet!

  • i think u won??? now u have more bread in ur wallet
