Dear Babs,

Songs like this (... and you know how much I like your collection of songs) ... were the cause for starting to play guitar. Yes, I'm really happy with this guitar. It's very unique and was only built once and it's not in the normal program of Lakewood. The size is similar to a 00 or 000 Martin. I like Martin guitars too ... and Rode build great mics at reasonable prices. Thanks for your comments!

That's what I do:

I hit the top of the guitar above the fretboard with the ball of my thumb and right afterwards slap the open strings at the 12 fret for the natural harmonics. Then I hammer down the C9 chord. This happens nearly in one movement.

I hope this helps - I don't know if I found the right words in English.
