Hey Pete I got a question, what do you do first if you have chips of paint on your car do you do the same process or what ? I hope you can answer my question on another video
@diyautoschool Thanks Pete For Tips But Doesnt The Water Nuetralize The Vinegar?
Does It Really Work Like A Rust Converter That Turns Rust Into Black?
Do You Just Apply It Let It Sit For a while Sand And Rinse And THe rust IS nuetralized? THANKS PETE FOR ANNSWERING QUESTIONS??????? APRECIATE GOD BLESS
@Joseph7033 Yes you could spot sand blast it, but then you risk taking off the factory etching, also sandblasting is NOT recommended for body panels due to warping purposes.. And how many people you know have a sandblaster? Thanks Pete
If you have mild surface rust grind it off, then it can't come back, since it's now not their, your taking a risk with just using metal prep.I do like your videos
@restoscott Don't mean to be a prick---this procedure is NOT for heavy THICK crusty rust..... This method is for mild surface rust, and does kill the rust so it won't come back, its basically the same stuff as metal prep, that you spend 50.00 for.
thankx pete, very glad u put the details to the vinager and water process, will this help stop my paint jobs from bubling and blistering?this has been a nightmare for me,thankx for this lesson
very good info pete I will keep this in mind if I strip a car to bare metal but ya know I am wondering where did you learn this trick?is it something you just happened upon?or did an old tymer teach it to you?
@blazerlover25 Practice makes perfect, learning from your mistakes---watch listen and learn from experianced, and screw up as much as you can till ya get it right. Thats how I learned what I know. A long life of lessons, passed on to the viewers of my channels. Pete
Great video Pete, I watched your previous videos on this and I'm now doing the same thing on the underside of my 260Z -- it's a bitch doing this laying on your back!

don't mean to be a prick, but that's not going to stop the rust from returning.Rust is just like cancer,if you don't remove it all it will come back.
