  • What a bad fold

I love Ivey but what a bad fold

  • Cash game thinking...

  • Joe Cada won obsolyutno not deserved, Touro on luck

  • good fold. i hate pocket jacks.

  • That's the perfect way to play pocket jacks if you ask me! :-P

  • See the gandering sway he does with 7-7.. perfect! Made it look like he had A-A! 0:32

  • If Saout had AA KK or QQ Ivey would be a fking hero...

  • Antoine definitely deserved to win on that final table .... fuckin Cada and his pair of 2 !

  • SAOUT played fucking amazing, sad he didnt win! great pokerplayer

  • jackass misread it

  • What a joke (bit.ly/PriscillaPlaysPoker)

  • This is only not a snap shove because of how obvious it is that it should be a snap shove. Raise utg = strong, 3 bet someone who raises utg with a short stack = mega strong.

  • wow rarely to see some1 movin ivey out of a pot with a decent hand... good job by sauot

  • Jacks not worth $4M, and Phil knew it

    Jacks are for jackasses

  • I'm not being arrogant but Ivey should of read that saout was bluffing as when Ivey stared him down if you watch saout he looks down away from Ivey signaling that he is uncomfortable. Though it was probably saouts image that wn this pot..

  • @Izaak247 you couldnt be more wrong first of all saout is not bluffing there is only 7 hands that have him beat pre flop he just didn't think ivey was as strong as he was... secondly when ivey stares him down saout doesn't look down signaly uncomfort he takes his chips and places them infront of him signaly comfort, strenght and basicaly saying he will call ivey's push.. ivey probaly thought he was against a range between AQ-AA and he didn't want a raise or to be dominated its not a bad play

  • sauot is a effing donk...so what he reraises him...big deal...foreigners are donks...terrible.

  • saout is a very very good player... solid and aggressive

  • also i really hate when people count the money they bet preflop as money they won when they get the other person to fold without seeing a flop. the french guys stack increased by 2.35M not 6.4M.

  • yeah i guess it was techincally a misread but would you really want to risk your whole stack with pocket JJ? whatever he does there he is basically going to commit all his chips. either he go all in there or call see a flop and be forced to call the sure continuation bet.

  • "Im Phil Ivey he can just make that re-raise to me with a monstruos hand!"

  • fucking french!

  • These two should have been heads up.

  • @Spades12321 easily the best two players at the final table

  • he just thought I want to outplay him, make him fold his AQ, JJ or the range he has.

  • I wouldnt of folded...there for i am better than ivey :)

  • @91Holdem therefore he has 8 bracelets and you have none lol

  • @alexnzxVersion2 well spotted, i might have to take back what i said after you put me in my place

  • Saout should of won the Main Event. I hate you Cada

  • @haroonKS yeah that was "the hand"

  • im pretty sure if the flop wouldve came A K 7 everyone wouldve said wow what a bad pre flop call from ivey...

  • @calobe3052

  • I think ivey doesnt handle tournaments really well, he looks more under pressure then ever, and makes misreads :( if it was cashgame he'd kick everyones ass

  • well, this is an exelent example to understand what poker really is. Fuck cards, poker is about situations, Ivey was out of position, Saout was playing tight, he used his image to made pressure to Ivey's stack and representing a real strong hand, Ivey knows that a flop with any A Q or K would be dangerous, so he folded, and Saout knew it well.. Nice play

  • what the FUCK Ivey? never fold pocket jacks! ever! no matter how he looks!

  • Even though I saw Saout with 7s, he made it seem as if he was holding aces.

  • Give Saout A LOT of credit. Phil ran into a player who has a great poker face(Just as good as his. anybody else on that table -especially cada and moon- would have given off a tell with pocket 7's and phil would have shipped it.

  • only the best can fold the best hand, and the worst will reraise the worst hand.

  • @SuperHeimen Well the apparent worst got farther in poker than you will ever get in your life

  • @hanselategretel ur right, but i dun need to be better than him to be making a statement, u wanna get aggressive and be a youtube loser, u go be one, i will stick to what i said, thank you =)

  • ivey is donk

    jkxxx

  • Saout should of wom the main event. He out -

    played everyone

  • It's the fucking MAIN EVENT FINAL TABLE

It's fucking PHIL IVEY raising from UTG

U gotta give Saout so much credit for this play...

  • i understand ivey's laydown. he put saout on QQ, KK, AA, AQ, or AK. he didn't have enough to set mine. it was either shove or fold but ivey still had 30bb left so he decided to play it safe

  • nice reraise :x

  • Ivey was near short-stack. It was a misread but at least he didn't call. It was either shove or fold. He just gave the french guy a credit for better hand. Standard. Nothing embarrasing.

  • Vive le Cassoulet ahahahahaha

  • ugh, this hand made me so sick. can't believe ivey didn't 4-bet all-in, although i can understand why he thought saout had a monster hand.

this was ivey's chance to double up, and really have a shot at winning the main event. :(

  • Ivey short stack, raising utg, just with that you can think that he had a big hand, saout 3 bet it because he thought ivey's hand was something like 1010 or 99 even JJ, so as he was pretty thigt Ivey should have thought that saout had KK AK or AA.

  • thats false there is no way he would 3 bet his 7s Thinking that ivey had a bigger pair than him

  • @JCUG03 He was 3 betting, "as a bluff" if he gets jammed on he folds, it was a move based on the stacks and position, ivey's opening range would be somewhat wide kq's a10's 55's+ but his 4 bet jaming range would only be like qq+/aks. That's why he made the move, because that raise is makign him play for stacks or fold.

  • @mmnmnmmmnmmn

+10000 Block theory, by this raise Saout forces Ivey to play for stacks, Ivey's stack is not deep enough to call and play postflop out of position so he has to shove if he thinks Saout can 3bet bluff or if Saout has 3bet him with a merged but value range like TT+,AQ+ and will call with this whole range (JJ has 47% equity against TT+,AQ+).

If he thinks Saout can only 3bet him with AK,QQ+ he has to fold (since JJ has only 36% equity against QQ+,AK)

  • @JCUG03 yeah, but Saout had the poker face to sell it........

  • this is strange... it's fairly common that someone will 3-bet preflop with a medium pair in online tournaments, he played this way too careful imo.

  • shulman and ivey played awfully nitty at the FT.

  • @2TheDeath they were bolth just looking for better spots and they bolth got it in as huge favorites. jvs 33 and AK vs Aq
