I am running a vito 110cdi -02 plate. and am about to perform an oil change. to be fair i have let it go a little tp long maybe 12000 miles over service schedule. anyway what oil do you recommend i use.? have 83000 on clock.
thanks for the service light reset vid and fuel filter vid.
@bobski1976 Well thats up to you, I myself never did any of that stuff, and I have no idea if it does any good or not, all I can say to you is, don't ignore your oil changes, keep on top of it and do it regularly.
@bobski1976 Well I always used Comma 10W40 semi synthetic oil myself - I used to change mine every 10,000 miles religiously, both oil & filter. I then changed the diesel fuel and air filters every 30,000 miles religiously.
My van had clocked up 300,000 miles when I got rid of her, and I had no problems other than fair wear and tear.
and my dads van fan has a mind of its own it works in the warm ish weather but wen its cold and windows steamy it doesnt it actully works wen you dont want it to and doesnt wen you do haha
thanks and i hate working in cold wether thats y there heating in as well oo and theres gunna be a nice big tv and sky up stares so i can say im goin to work on landy and chill out in stead of listening to my mum moan lol and my dad got his own building company thats y he likes big garages lol
i have a lot of time as i snaped my leg racing motocross so lots of time not that much money but the sport looked gud getting nice n dirty on a saterday sunday lol but i will keep posted on the van and the landy will sort out a cam but wont be for a few month as my dads at the moment building a 80ft garage and i need to get a pit sorted and car lift but will keep posted m8 where are you by the way
thanks can you make a id of how to change it just taking on new project as well restoring a 91 land rover defender landy cost 500 fuly working starting a little hobby on sundays 4x4ing very fun you should try it as you look prity handy with tools watch afew 4x4 is born and get a bit of a head start
Yes I've seen that show, was very good. I quite fancied that 4x4 when he'd finished it, as for me I just don't have the time , space or money to throw at it, I would enjoy the sport itself though.
I've just changed mine in the last few weeks. Had to buy a new heater blower cost about £75 not original part for that money.
Only 3 screws hold it in, dead easy to do. The fuses are situated on the steering column, just look below the steering wheel, you'll see a screw, just twist it and pull the cover off. Underneath you will see all the fuses. Good luck.
will do pal if it all works out ok you should get one cheeper than genuine filters in the long run there washable soo there good and cost 20 quid and bit more hp
Here's my tip. I change my engine oil and filter every 10,000 miles regardless. I change my diesel fuel filter and air filter every 30,000 miles regardless. It's stood me in good stead I reckon. Sorry I don't know what any of these figures are in Kilometres.
My 416CDI is lacking some power so somebody suggested I add some injector cleaner to the fuel and also replace the Air Filter which is where your "How to" has come in really handy. If this doesn't fix the problem its off to the diesel engine doctor next week. my 416CDI is a 2005 model and is the chassis for our motorhome and only done about 28,000Klms. Usually it does a brilliant job but I am sure it will be up and running as usual soon. Thanks again for the "How to"

Hi there. I have found your video's very helpful. Well done
With the air filter Is there a granulated cartridge that needs to be replaced in the compressed air drier.
TheFrytol 1 year ago
@TheFrytol Thank you. There was no compressor on my van so no filters in relation to this to change.
Thanks for asking :-)

PS...How dirty you think an Air Filter has got to be before it effects the running of the vehicle.??
How ofter do you change your Air filter??

Hi Bevion,
Whats the hum in the background?
Do you live close to a motorway?
Brentwood2003 2 years ago
My camera seems to pick up what seems like lots of noise, there are things going on around in the back ground at the moment.
