Secret Wars was a story from the early 80's by Jim Shooter, Mike Zeck, and Bob Layton. Basically, this cosmic being called "The Beyonder" is running an experiment to discover the nature of good and evil. He takes some of the most powerful heroes and villains in the Marvel U. and transports them to a planet where they are to do battle. It is MUST reading for a comics fan. Definitely check it out. Also, it is where Spidey got his black costume.

dude you rule! i'm just trying to see my way around american comics....dude it's just that there is SOOO much history and foreknowledge that makes it way to difficult for me to get into it. like i was thinking about these: marvel civil war, red hulk, secret invasion, and the seige

but there is too much intimidating history that i don't know

Yes, they come in soft cover or trade paperback as its commonly known, for about twenty bucks I think.

Yes indeed, there is a marvel/dc crossover where the marvel heroes fight the dc heroes, superman beats the hulk and many other heroes do battle, its awesome.

Nope, Bleach is new and to represent that I am not all about Comics, I love anime and Manga.

YES! Wolverine Origin. That's one of my favorite graphic novels.

Mine too, but Wolverines Origin is either simple or complex based on how I explain it, I could explain the simple points, his real name, birth, life as a kid, then his life after that up to his claws and just stop or I do the whole thing which could take a good long time.

Have you seen the Hulk vs. animations? Omega Red's in it. 

Do you collect Marvel Legends? I've just ordered Blade (movie version), Yellowjacket, and Jean Grey (possessed variant, like the one from the movie). Can't wait to get them this week.

Wow, lots to answer, Yes, I have Ironman Marvel Legends Mojo series, Luke cage and Long shot also Mojo series and Iron Fist Variant apocolypse series. Thanks for noticing my spiderman and omega red props, I have seen the Hulk vs clips and cant wait for the movie.
